CORRIGENDUM/ADDENDUM
In the first line of paragraph 1 of the G.O. Ms. No. 45,
dated 28-9-2016 of Industrial Development (Power)
Department, Puducherry published in the Official
Gazette No. 41, dated 11-10-2016.

The following paragraph may be added below the
paragraph 1 to the G.O. Ms. No. 45, dated 28-9-2016
of
Industrial Development (Power) Department,
Puducherry.
“As per section 65 of Electricity Act,2003, Sanction
is also accorded to draw entire amount of Subsidy in
respect of Domestic Consumers whose consumption
is below 100 units per month to Electricity
Department by remitting the amount of subsidy, every
year from the following head of account:
“2801–A–Power–A.05–Tansmission and Distribution–
A.05/800–Other Expenditure–A.05/800(01) Purchase
of Power–
A.05/800(01)(01) Puducherry region–(50) Other
Charges–Non-Plan”
to the below mentioned head of account:
“0801-Power-05-Transmission and Distribution-
101-Sale of Power”
3. The drawal of subsidy every year should be made
only with the concurrence of the Finance Department
to ensure the effective Budget/Expenditure Management.
4. All other items, terms and conditions remain
unaltered.
5. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance
Department vide I.D. Note No. 1064/FD/F3/FC/17-18,
dated 10-4-2017.
