TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of below
mentioned Rain tree branches of this School.

(fire wood).
2. The tenders in sealed cover superscribing as
“Tender for purchase of Rain tree branches” should be
addressed
to
the
Vice-Principal,
Thiruvalluvar
Government Higher Secondary School, Ambagarathur,
Karaikal and send to this School on or before
22-5-2017 at 10.45 a.m. The tenders will be opened
on the same day at 11.00 a.m. in the presence of the
tenderers present at that time. If, the day of opening
the tenders happens to be a public holiday for any
reason, the tenders will be received and opened by the
same time on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash
as earnest money deposit with this School while
submitting the tenders.
4.
The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the
tenders are finalised.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately and should remove the wooden
branches within 24 hours at his own risk and expenses.
7. Sales tax at the rate applicable will be collected
extra.
8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.
9. The wooden branches can be inspected during
office hours except Saturday, Sunday and Public
holidays.
10. No claim about the quantity, quality and value
of the items will be entertained after opening the
tenders.
11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.

duly
superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the
purchase of old newspapers” and should reach the
undersigned on or before on 15-6-2017 at 11.00 a.m.
The tenders will be opened at 11.30. a.m. on the same day
in the presence of the tenderers present in the chamber
of the Vice-Principal, Government Higher Secondary
School, Oulgaret, Puducherry-605 010.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of
` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) as
earnest
money
deposit,
which
is
refundable
immediately to the unsuccessful tenderers after
finalization of the highest tender amount.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time
prescribed will summarily be rejected.
5. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount alongwith the Sales tax applicable at the time
and clear the old newspapers immediately at his own
expenses, failing which the earnest money deposit
paid by him will be forfeited. The materials should not
be weighed in hand balance. The tenderer should make
his own arrangements to bring weighing machine (duly
stamped for the current year by the Weights and
Measures Department) to weigh the abovesaid items.
7. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
8. Sales tax at the rate applicable will be charged
extra.
9. The intending tenderers may inspect the
newspapers during the School working hours in any
working days at Government Higher Secondary School,
Oulgaret, Puducherry-605 010.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender at all the tenders or postpone the
tender sale without assigning any reason.
11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
