ORDER

Government of Puducherry has decided to adopt uniformity in the

admission procedures and thereby to streamline the existing system of admission

of students in undergraduate Arts and Science courses in the two Government

Arts and Science Colleges and four Government Sponsored Arts and Science

Colleges (Society). In Puducherry region viz., Government Colleges: (1) Tagore

Arts College, Puducherry, (2) Bharathidasan Government College for Women

(Autonomous), Puducherry, Government Sponsored Society Colleges: (1) Indira

Gandhi College of Arts and Science, Kathirkamam, (2) Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Arts

College, Kalitheerthalkuppam, (3) Rajiv Gandhi Arts and Science College,

Thavalakuppam and (4) Kasthurba College for Women, Villianur.

4. Convenor : In order to coordinate and regulate the various activities

connected with admission to the Arts and Science courses for the year 2017-18,

The Principal, Bharathidasan Government College for Women (Autonomous),

Puducherry, shall be the Convenor (CAPASC 2017-18) and the Bharathidasan

Government College for Women (Autonomous), Puducherry shall function as the

Head of Office of CAPASC, wherein, filled in applications shall be received and

counselling for admissions shall also be held.
