Puducherry, the 16th May 2017.

TENDER NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the trees at the

premises of the Puducherry Museum was cut down by

the Public Works Department B&R (North) with the

permission of the Department of Forest of Wildlife,

Puducherry and the same will be disposed off in

as-is-where is condition by tender sale on 1-6-2017

at 11.30 a.m.

Terms and Condition

1. T he sealed

tenders should be addressed to

the Director, Department of Art and Culture

Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of cut down trees” and should

reach this office on or before 10.00 a.m. on 1-6-2017.

The tenders will be opened at 11.30.am. on the same

day in the presence of tenderers present if any, in the

Chamber of the undersigned.

2. The intending tenderers can inspect the cutdown

trees during office hours on any working days but on

or before the tender date at the Puducherry Museum

with the premission of the undersigned.

3. The tender will be awarded to the highest rate

quoted tenderer on the spot.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)

alongwith sealed tender. The earnest money deposit of

the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the

same day soon after completion of the tender sale.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after the completion of the tender sale

and should clear the tender sale materials at his own

arrangement/cost befoore 5.00 p.m. on the same day

failing which this office will not be held responsible

either for the safe custody or loss or damage of

articles once the tender sale is over.

6. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate

appicable at the time of tender sale.

7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender sale is over.

8. The tenders offered after the due date and time

will be rejected.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on a holiday, the tender

sale will be held on the next working day.

10. Tender sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any

dispute arises in this regard.
