on payment of ` 10 ( Rupees ten only) by remitting Money Orders or in person at these Institutes. Candidates

desire of receiving the application by Post should send a requisition letter with a self-addressed envelope of

size 23 cm. x 10 cm. with ` 10 postage stamp affixed thereon along with the Money Order Receipt (Postal Order

shall not be accepted).

Application Forms complete in all respects should be submitted to the Principals, Government Industrial

Training Institutes concerned at Puducherry, Karaikal/Mahe and Yanam so as to reach them not later than 5.00 p.m.

on 16-6-2017. No need to attach any copies of certificates along with the application.

Incomplete and belated application shall be sumarily rejected without any intimation.

Applications received from other state candidates shall not be entertained.

NOTIFICATION

Government of India, has launched a comprehensive

programme namely “Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee

Yojana (PMKSY)” for integrated development of water

resources with the objective of expanding the access

of water to each farm and to provide end-to-end

solutions in irrigation supply chain, such as creation

of water sources, rain water harvesting, distribution

network, efficient on farm application and extension

services on new technologies/information. 100%

Central Assistance will be extended to Union territory

of Puducherry for implementation of the said

programme.

2. As per the guidelines of the Scheme, State

Agriculture Department will be the Nodal Department

for implementation of Pradhan Mantri Krishi

Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY), and a District Level

Implementation

Committee

(DLIC)

under

the

chairmanship of Collector/DM has to be constituted

to oversee the programme implementation and

Inter-Departmental coordination at District level.

3. Accordingly, the Government of Puducherry is

pleased to constitute a “District Level Implementation

Committee (DLIC)”, Karaikal, towards implementation

of the said Scheme in the Union territory of Puducherry.

4. The

responsibilities

of

District

Level

Implementation Committee (DLIC) are as follows:—

(a) To act as the field level coordinator between

the various implementation agencies/line departments

in the District and to ensure that the agreed District

Irrigation

Plan/Annual

is

successfully implemented

(b) To prepare the District Irrigation Plan (DIP),

showing the contribution of various funding streams

and programmes towards specific outputs and

outcomes and seek approval of the SLSC for the

same.

(c) To prepare Annual Irrigation Plans (AIPs)

arising out of the DIPs and to forward them to the

SLSC for approval.

(d) To

monitor

the

progress

of

various

components of the AIPs, to remove implementation

hurdles and make periodic reports to SLSC.

(e) To undertake public awareness and publicity

efforts for engaging farmers, PRIs, media and other

local stakeholders to build support for the

implementation of the DIPs.

5. The Project Director, Agricultural Technology

Management Agency (ATMA) will make use of the

existing infrastructure and staff under ATMA in

Districts and Blocks for discharging duties under PMKSY.

6. The DLIC will arrange to prepare the District

Irrigation Plan (DIP) for the District in accordance to

the operational guidelines of PMKSY and the ATMA

Management

Committee

will

assist

DLIC

in

coordinating and executing extension related activities

under PMKSY.

7. The “District Level Implementation Committee

(DLIC)” shall meet as and when required, but, shall

meet at least once in a quarter.

TENDER NOTICE

In pursuance of the sanction accorded by the

Director of Higher Education vide No. 508/DHTE/SV/

2016-17 for the disposal of condemned library

books, sealed tenders offering rate per kilogram are

invited.

Terms and conditions

1. Tender superscribing the envelope as “Tender for

purchase of unserviceable library books” should reach

the Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for

Women, Karaikal on or before 26-6-2017 at 3.30. p.m.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 3.45 p.m.

in the presence of the tenderers, if any.

2. The intending tenderers should deposit an

earnest money deposit of ` 200 (Rupees two hundred

only) while submitting the tender.

3. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after finalizing the tender.

4. Tenders received after the stipulated date and

time will not be accepted.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the amount in

full immediately and remove the articles at his/her own

cost.

6. The Principal, Avvaiyar Government College for

Women, Karaikal reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all tenders without assigning any reasons thereof.

7. Sales tax at the admissible rate will be collected

extra on the sale proceeds.

8. The intending tenderers can inspect the items

during working hours with the permission of the

Principal.

9. No claim about quality and quantity of the

articles will be entertained once the tender in finalized.

10. In case of disputes, if any, the decision of the

Principal will be final and binding in all concerned.
