Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old condemned

furniture and other items of the Government Primary

Schools of Deputy Inspector of Schools-III under the

control of the Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry

in as-is where-is condition on 29-6-2017.

2. The tenders in plain paper should be sealed

and addressed to the Chief Educational Officer,

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase

of old condemned furniture items” and sent to reach the

undersigned on or before 29-6-2017 at 4.00 p.m.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.15 p.m.

in the presence of the tenderers who are present. The rates

for each School should be quoated separately in one

cover.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) as

earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of

the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned immediately

after the tender sale is over.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit

will be forfeited.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the

condemned furniture and other items during office

hours on any working day with the prior permission of

the Headmasters in the concerned Schools listed above

without any disturbance to the students. The quantities

and the qualities are as-is where is-condition.

7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

8. VAT at the rate applicable will be charged.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited by the undersigned for purchase of the

following Items belonging to the Rajiv Gandhi

Government Women and Children Hospital, Puducherry

in as-is-where-is condition by tender-cum-public

auction on 9-8-2017. The rate should be quoted for

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Medical Superintendent, Rajiv Gandhi Government

Women and Children Hospital, Puducherry and the

envelope superscribed as “Tender for the purchase of

empty gunny bags and old newspaper” and sent to this

office on or before 9-8-2017 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders

will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the

presence of tenderers by the undersigned. If, the tender

date falls on any holiday, the next working day will be

the date of tender sale.

2. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

3. The intending tenderers should pay an amount of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money

deposit in cash along with tender. The earnest money

deposit of unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded

immediately after the tender sale is over.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the said

materials during the office hours between 10.00 a.m.

to 2.00 p.m. on any working day with the permission

of Residential Medical Officer of this Hospital.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately along with applicable tax if any,

and clear all the items sold within 24 hours at his own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit

will be forfeited into Puducherry Government Account.

6. The successful tenderer will not be allowed to

avoid purchase any portion of the materials.

7. No claim on the quantity and quality of materials

will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

8. The undersigned reserves every right to accept

or reject any tender or to postpone the tender sale

without assigning any reason thereof.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

TENDER NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the old unusable

articles at the premises of Romain Rolland Library,

Puducherry as listed in the Annexure will be disposed

off in as-is-where-is condition by tender sale

on 28-6-2017 at 11.30 a.m.

Terms and Conditions

1. T he sealed

tenders should be addressed to

the Director, Department of Art and Culture

Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of old unusable articles of Roman

Rolland Library” and should reach this office on or

before 10.00 a.m. on 28-6-2017. The tenders will be

opened at 11.30.am. on the same day in the presence

of tenderers present if any, in the chamber of the

undersigned.

2. The intending tenderers can inspect the above

articles during office hours on any working day but,

on or before the, tender date at Roman Rolland Library,

Puducherry with the permission of the undersigned.

3. The tender will be awarded to the highest rate

quoted tenderer on the spot.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)

along with sealed tender. The earnest money deposit

of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the

same day soon after completion of the tender sale.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after the completion of the tender sale

and should clear the sold materials at his own

arrangement/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same day

failing which this office will not be held responsible

either for the safe custody or loss or damage of

articles once the tender sale is over.

6. Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate

applicable at the time of tender sale.

7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles

will be admitted once the tender sale is over.

8. The tenders offered after the due date and time

will be rejected.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on a holiday the tender

sale will be held on the next working day.

10. Tender sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any

dispute arises in this regard.
