ORDER
In pursuance of I.D. Note No. 2693/PRD-2017/DD
(DBT)/3982, dated 2-6-2017 of Planning and Research
Department, Puducherry, Secretary (Information
Technology) is notified as Nodal Officer and
Directorate of Information Technology (DIT) as Nodal
Department to coordinate the efforts of Government
of India in promoting digital payments and in the
conduct of Digi Dhan Mela/Fair under “Lucky Grahak
Yojana” and “Digi Dhan Vyapar Yojana” and State/
District level functions to promote adoption of digital
payment methods and assist/facilitate educate the
people of Union territory of Puducherry in utilizing
digital payment technology by involving all the
stakeholders. The Nodal Officer shall conduct the Digi
Dhan Mela/Fair adhering the Standard Operating
Procedure in coordination with District Magistrate/
Collector of the respective District where the function
is organized and shall ensure that the function is
organized in an efficient and professional manner.
