TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking in auction on

disposal of unserviceable/damaged furniture items

belonging to the Navalar Nedunchezhian Government

Higher Secondary School, Lawspet, Puducherry-605 008

in as-is where-is condition by tender-cum-public auction

on 12-7-2017.

Terms and Conditions

1. The tenders in sealed covers duly superscribed as

“Tender for taking in auction of unserviceable/damaged

furniture Items” should be addressed to the Principal,

Navalar Nedunchezhian Government Higher Secondary

School, Lawspet, Puducherry-605 008 and reach the

10.00 a.m. undersigned on or before 12-7-2017.

The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.00 a.m.

in the presence of the tenderers who are present.

2. Sealed tenders are therefore invited which

includes the cost of loading transport, etc., and the

bidders are requested to quote their bid amount in lot

systems for taking auction of the abovesaid items.

Quotation for purchase in part of the unserviceable/

damaged furnitures will be summarily rejected. The highest

rate quoted will be treated as minimum upset price and

then the public auction will be started immediately.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in

cash before submission of tender in the Office of

Navalar Nedunchezhian Government Higher Secondary

School, Lawspet, Puducherry. The earnest money

deposit of unsuccessful bidders will be refunded after

the tenders are opened and the sale auction is finalized.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the damaged

unserviceable wooden furniture items in the School

premises with the permission of the undersigned during

office hours on or before 11-7-2017.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount with Sales Tax/Value Added Tax at once and

obtain receipt and remove the unserviceable wooden

furniture items at the earliest possible at his/her own

risk and expenses.

6. The Sales tax will be charged extra as per the rate

applicable at the time of auction for the bid amount.

7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles

will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

8. Tenders received after the due date and time will

summarily be rejected.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject

any tender/bid without assigning any reason thereof.

If, the tender date falls on any holiday, the next working

day will be the date of tender sale.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned is final.
