GENERAL NOTICE
Whereas, I, Rajiv Ranjan, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and
Order), Puducherry, on being satisfied that there is likelihood of breach of peace in
Puducherry region, especially within the limits of Grand Bazaar Police Station, owing
to the proposed agitations/demonstrations by various political parties/organizations/
associations, and other law and order arrangements, which may cause dislocation
of traffic, danger to the community, damages/loss to private and public properties
and disturbance to public order.
Now, therefore, in view of ensuing Presidential Election, I, Rajiv Ranjan, I.P.S.,
Senior Superintendent of Police (L&O), Puducherry, in exercise of the powers
conferred on me by virtue of section 30(2) of the Police Act (Act V of 1861), do
hereby impose the Regulatory Order in Puducherry region, especially within the
limits of Grand Bazaar Police Station for a period of 9 days from 12-7-2017 to
20-7-2017 (both days inclusive) as follows:
