finally the petitioner was terminated from service on

31-5-2011. But, it is the evidence of petitioner PW.1

that he has not been given opportunity to putforth his

case in the domestic enquiry and the enquiry was

conducted in a biased manner.

7. While the case was posted for order today both

the parties have field a compromise memo along with

the statement arrived at between them stating that on

11-5-2017 both the parties have mutually agreed and

entered a Memorandum of Settlement. The copy of the

said Memorandum of settlement, dated 11-5-2017 and

the copy of the receipt is also filed along with the

memo which would reveal the fact that the

management and the petitioner has amicably entered

into the settlement on 11-5-2017 and the petitioner

has received a sum of ` 5,35,680 for his employment

benefits as one-time settlement including gratuity and

therefore, the matter has been settled between the

parties by entering the settlement and hence, the

compromise is to be recorded and Award is to be

passed in terms of settlement and the copy of the

settlement is to be attached as part and parcel of the

Award.

8. In the result, the petition is partly allowed and

the Award is passed in terms of the Memorandum of

settlement arrived at between the parties on 11-5-2017

and the same is recorded and the said Memorandum of

settlement shall be attached as part and parcel of the

Award. No costs.

NOTIFICATION

The Local Administration Secretariat, Government of Puducherry has been accorded approval to adopt

the notification issued by the Cheif Secretariat (Public Works), Puducherry vide G.O.Ms.No. 5, dated 13-2-2017

and directed to the Municipalities and Commune Panchayats in Puducherry State to adopt the same-(i) revised

water tariff (ii) other charges such as disconnection charge, etc., and (iii) amount of non-refundable one-time

security deposit as prescribed in the said notification with effect from 1-4-2017 for the water supply by the Local

Bodies from their water supply systems to the consumers vide G.O.Ms. No. 37/LAS/2017, dated 22-3-2017 of

the Under Secretary to Government (LA.), Puducherry. Accordingly, on behalf of the Nettapakkam Commune

Panchayet Council/Village Panchayat Council the Designated Officer who is appointed by the Local Administration

Secretariat, Puducherry vide G.O. Ms. No.8/LAS/AR/2017-18, dated 15-6-2017, is hereby resolved to adopt the

revised rate of water tariff and other charges in Nettapakkam Commune Panchayat with effect from 1-4-2017

vide Resolution No. 1-016/Net.CP/Estt./Rev./2017, dated 21-6-2017, the same as detailed in Tamil and English

in the Annexure is enclosed herewith for information to the public.
