TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for
the sale of old/unserviceable/obsolete lab articles as
detailed in the Annexure belonging to the Department
of Physics and Chemistry, Tagore Arts College,
Puducherry in “as-is-where-is condition”.
2. The sealed tenders should be addresed to The
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry duly
superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the
purchase of old /unserviceable/obsolete lab articles”.
The sealed tenders will be received by this office
up to 11.00 a.m. on 25-8-2017. The tenders will be
opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day by the
undersigned. If, the day for opening the tenders
happens to be a public holiday for any reason, the
tenders will be received and opened by the same time
on the next working day.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 1,500 (Rupees one thousand five hundred
only) as earnest money deposit.
4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the tender
sale is over.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject all/any tender without assigning any reason
thereof.
7. The successful tenderer should remit the full
amount immediately and clear the items within 24
hours at his own risk and cost, failing which he will
forfeite his earnest money deposit.
8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
9. Sales tax/VAT/GST at the rate applicable will be
charged.
10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours in the Department of Physics
and Chemistry, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry in all
working days.
11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
Principal, Tagore Arts College, Puducherry will be the
final.
