NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an

industrial dispute has arisen between the management

of M/s. Mahatma Gandhi Medical College and

Research Institute, Pillaiyarkuppam, Puducherry and

Mahatma Gandhi Maruthuvakalloori mattrum Aaraitchi

Niruvana Niranthara Thozhilalargal Vazhurimai Sangam,

Puducherry over charter of demands in respect of the

matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of

the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the

powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1)

of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the

Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute

be referred to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry for

adjudication. The Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry shall

submit the award within 3 months from the date of

issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A)

of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and

in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial

Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the

dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with

relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to

the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry within 15 days of

the receipt of the order of reference and also forward

a copy of such statement to each one of the opposite

parties involved in the dispute.

(a) Whether the dispute raised by the Mahatma

Gandhi Maruthuvakalloori mattrum Aaraitchi

Niruvana Niranthara Thozhilalargal Vazhurimai

Sangam, Puducherry against the management of

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

1. Sealed tenders offering the highest rate for

whole lot of the old condemned and unserviceable

articles are invited for sale in as-is-where-is condition

on 30-8-2017 as detailed in the Annexure-I.

2. The tenders in sealed cover should be addressed

to the Principal, Government Industrial Institute for Women,

N.S.C. Bose Road, Vambakeerapalayam, Puducherry-605 001

duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of unserviceable articles” and to reach the

undersigned on or before of 30-8-2017 at 3.00 p.m.

The received tenders will be opened on the same day

at 4.00 p.m in the presence of the tenderers or their

representatives who are present at that time. If, the

opening day of the tenders happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working day.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 8,000 (Rupees eight thousand only) in cash as earnest

money deposit at the same time of submitting their

tenders. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after finalization of the

tender.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected. If, the highest rate quoted by the tender is

below the upset price, then open auction will be

conducted on the same day. In the open auction, the

tenderers who have submitted sealed tender already

will only be allowed.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately alongwith the GST if any, and

clear all the items within 24 hours at his own risk,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited into the Government Account. The successful

tenderer should make his own arrangement to clear the

items.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender or all of them without assigning any

reason thereof.

7. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

old condemned and unserviceable articles will be

admitted once the tender is finalized.

8. The intending tenderers may inspect the

old condemned and unserviceable articles during office

hours on 28-8-2017 and 29-8-2017 with the permission

of the office between 10.00 a.m and 4 p.m. in the

Government Industrial Institute for Women, N.S.C.

Bose Road, Vambakeerapalayam, Puducherry-605 001

and B.T.C., Thattanchavady, Puducherry.

9. In case any dispute arises, the decision of the

undersigned shall be the final and binding.
