22-7-1992 of the Development Department (LA), Puducherry, objections if any, are invited to reach the

Commissioner, Kottucherry Commune Panchayat within fifteen days from the date of publication of this notice

in the Official Gazette.

The objections so received within the specified period will be considered by this Commune Panchayat.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per in lot systems are invited for taking auction of wooden logs cut (fire

wood) of leaning eucalyptus trees and permission for removal of dead trees including root as mentioned below

in the Annexure belonging to the Navalar Nedunchezian Government Higher Secondary School, Lawspet,

Puducherry-605 008 (inside the School premises) by tender-cum-public auction on 18-9-2017.

Terms and Conditions

1. The tenders in sealed covers superscribed as 'Tender for topping of “Taking of auction of wooden logs

and removal of Yellow Kondrai trees” should be addressed to the Principal, Navalar Nedunchezian Government

Higher Secondary School, Lawspet, Puducherry-605 008 so as to reach this office before 11.00 a.m. on 18-9-2017.

The tender will be opened on the same day at 12.00 noon in the presence of tenderers who are present.

2. Sealed tenders are therefore invited including the cost of loading, transport, etc., for the abovesaid

work. The bidders are requested to quote their bid amount in lot systems for taking auction of the above works at

a time. Quotation for sales part of the available trees will summarily be rejected. The highest rate quoted will be

treated as minimum upset price and then the public auction will be started immediately.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest money deposit of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand

only) in cash before submission of tender in the Office of Navalar Nedunchezian Government Higher Secondary

School, Lawspet, Puducherry. The earnest money deposit of unsuccessful bidders will be refunded after the tenders

are opened and finalized.

4. The bid value for taking auction of wooden logs (fire wood) and removal of yellow kondrai trees

including root and pruning of eucalyptus trees will be the value as fixed by the Government.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time will summarily be rejected.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the wooden logs cut from eucalyptus trees and yellow kondrai

trees inside the School premises with the permission of the undersigned during office hours on or before 15-9-2017.

7. The successful tenderer should pay the full amount with Sales tax at once and obtain receipt and remove

the wooden logs at the earliest possible at his own risk and expenses.

8. No Sales Tax/VAT/GST will be collected at the time of auction for the bid amount.

9. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

10. In the case of any dispute, the decision of the undersigned is the final.

11. The undersigned reserves the right either to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning

any reason thereby.
