NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 355 (1) and 356 read with section 457 (2) of the
Puducherry Municipalities Act, 1973, Government hereby- (i) specifies the purposes mentioned in the Schedule
appended to this Notification, for which premises shall not be used without licence issued by the Commissioner
of Municipality and (ii) prescribes in the Schedule, the rates of fees to be charged for licence granted or renewed
and permission granted for installation of any machinery or manufacturing plant in any premises.
2. Notifications issued earlier in this regard by the Municipal Councils are hereby superceded.

NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 121 (1) and 122 read with section 213 (2) of the
Puducherry Village and Commune Panchayat Act, 1973, Government hereby- (i) specifies the purposes mentioned
in the Schedule appended to this Notification, for which premises shall not be used without licence issued by the
Commissioner of Commune Panchayat and (ii) prescribes in the Schedule, the rates of fees to be charged for
licence granted or renewed and permission granted for installation of any machinery or manufacturing plant in
any premises.
2. Notifications issued earlier in this regard by the Commune Panchayat are hereby superceded.
