NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-clause (vi) of clause (n)

of section 2 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947),

read with item 10 of the First Schedule thereunder, the Lieutenant-Governor,

Puducherry, is pleased to declare the ‘Fire Brigade Service’ of the Government

of Puducherry as a ‘Public Utility Service’ for a further period of six months

from 22nd October, 2017 to 21st April, 2018 in the exigencies of public interest.
