Applications are invited for the allotment of the
following plots/sheds at Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry

The application for allotment of plot/shed for
industrial purpose can be received from the
Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry-605 009 during office hours.
The completed applications should reach the Office
of the Director of Industries and Commerce,
Thattanchavady, Puducnerry-605 009 on or before
02nd November 2017 (02-11-2011) by 5.45 p.m.
The decision of the Allotment Committee with regard
to allotment shall be final.

RE-TENDER NOTICE
Sealed quotations are invited for the disposal of old/
outdated Text Books available at all Government Higher
Secondary/High/Middle/Primary Schools of Puducherry
region.
2. The quotations
in plain paper should be sealed
and addressed to the Deputy Director (Elementary
Education), Directorate of School Education, Puducherry
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Quotation for
the disposal of Old/Outdated Text Books” sent to this
office on or before 30-10-2017 at 3.00 p.m. The
quotations will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m.
in the presence of the tenderers who are present by the
Committee constituted for this purpose. The rate should
be quoted for per kilogram.
3. The intending tenderers should submit an amount
of ` 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only) as earnest money
deposit in the form of Demand Draft in favour of the
Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Directorate of School
Education, Puducherry. The same will be returned
immediately to the unsuccessful tenderers after the tender
sale is over.
4. Quotations received after the due date and time
will summarily be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount and clear the items in the respective Schools
within twenty four (24) hours at their own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers may inspect the old
outdated Text Books during office hours on any working
day with prior permission of the Principal/Headmasters
in the concern Schools without any disturbance to the
students.
7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the articles
will be admitted once the quotation is finalized.
8. GST at the rate applicable will be charged.
9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the Director
of School Education will be the final.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the quotations without assigning any
reason thereof.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate for whole lot of the
unserviceable
articles are
invited
for sale
in
as-is-where-is condition as detailed in the Annexure.
2. The tenders in sealed cover superscripted as
“Tender for the purchase of old unserviceable articles”
and it should be addressed and sent to the office of the
undersigned so as to reach this office on or before
3.00 p.m. on 25-10-2017. The received tenders will
be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence
of those tenderers or their representatives who are
present at that time.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of
` 2,000 (Rupees two thousand only) in cash as earnest
money deposit at the time of submitting their tenders.
The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers
will be refunded after the finalization of the tender.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected. If, the highest rate quoted by the tenderer
is below the upset price, then open auction will be
conducted.
5. If, the opening day of the tenders happens to be
a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next
working day.
6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire
amount immediately along with the GST if any, and
clear all the items within 24 hours at his own risk,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited into the Government account. The successful
tenderer should make his own arrangements to clear
the items.
7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender or all of them without assigning any
reason thereof.
8. No claim on the quantity and quality of old
unserviceable items will be admitted once the tender
is finalized.
9. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at
the Stores of the Deputy Director, Immunization,
Puducherry during office hours between 10.00 a.m.
and 12.00 noon on 23-10-2017 and 24-10-2017.
10. In case any dispute arises, the decision of the
undersigned shall be final and binding.
