RETENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders
offering the rate per kilogram
(excluding Sales tax) are invited for the disposal of
old Dailies and Magazines/Weeklies accumulated
in Government Libraries in Mahe, Office of
the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe and Government
Schools under the control of the Chief Educational
Office, Mahe.
The rate should be quoted for each item as follows:

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Chief Educational Officer, Mahe, duly superscribing
on the envelope as “Tender for the purchase of
old Newspapers and Magazines” and to reach the
undersigned on or before 20-11-2017 at 11.00 a.m.
The tenders will be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same
day, in the presence of the tenderers present, in the
Office of the Chief Educational Officer, Mahe.
3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) as
earnest money deposit in cash and it will be refunded
to the unsuccessful tenderers, after the acceptance of
the highest tender/finalization of the tender sale.
Tenders without the abovesaid earnest deposit will not
be taken into consideration.
4. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
5. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately as and when call made and clear
the old items within 2 days at his own risk and cost,
failing which the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
6. The intending tenderers can see the articles during
office hours on all working days.
7. The successful tenderer should make his own
arrangements for weighing the articles.
8. GST will be collected extra as per the rate
applicable.
9. No claim on the quantity of the articles will be
admitted once the tender is finalised.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reason
thereof.
