NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b)
of sub-section (1) of section 9 of the Indian Stamp Act,
1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the Lieutenant-
Governor of Puducherry is pleased to allow the New
India Assurance Company Limited to consolidate, with
the prior approval of the Secretary to Government
(Revenue), Government of Puducherry, the stamp duty
chargeable on the insurance policies to be issued by the
aforesaid Company and to deposit the consolidated
amount in the Government Treasury not less than the
amount of stamp duty paid during the previous
corresponding quarter, in advance, under the head of
account “0030-Stamps and Registration Fees-02-
Stamps – Non-Judicial – 102- Sale of Stamps” and
to endorse each insurance policy, after depositing the
consolidated fee, with the words “Consolidated
Stamp Duty Paid vide Notification No. 7861/
DRDM/C3/SD-NIA/2017,
dated
21-11-2017
of
Government of Puducherry”, in case of issue of
insurance policies by the Divisional Office at
Puducherry, two Branch Offices at Puducherry and two
Micro Offices at Lawspet and Thavalakuppam of the
New India Assurance Company Limited.

Association of the Puducherry Power Corporation
Limited, Puducherry, the Lieutenant-Governor is
pleased to appoint Tmt. A. Geetha, Member of
Legislative Assembly, Puducherry as the Chairperson
of the Puducherry Power Corporation Limited,
Puducherry, with immediate effect until further orders

personal staff on co-terminus basis strictly as per
the scale notified by Government.
8. The performance of the Statutory Body under
the leadership of the newly appointed Chairperson
shall be reviewed.
9. A mid-term measurable performance appraisal
of the institution shall also be carried out engaging
professional in the field after six months.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an
industrial dispute has arisen between the management
of M/s. Puducherry Distilleries Limited, Puducherry
and Puducherry Distilleries Limited Workers Union,
Puducherry over regularisation of Thiru V. Subramanian,
Puducherry in the matter mentioned in the Annexure
to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,
it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated
vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of
the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the
powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of
section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947
(Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the
Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute
be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for
adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry shall
submit the Award within 3 months from the date of
issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section 2-A
of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and
in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes
(Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute
shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant
documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the Labour
Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the receipt of the
order of reference and also forward a copy of such
statement to each one of the opposite parties involved
in the dispute.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of
` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as
earnest money deposit by way of Demand Draft in
favour of the Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Office
of the Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry it will be
returned to the unsuccessful tenderers, after the
acceptance of the highest tender/finalization of the
tender. Tenders without the abovesaid earnest money
deposit will not be taken into consideration and will
be rejected.
