NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred under rule 10(a) of the Pondicherry Municipalities (Advertisement

Tax) Rules, 1976 is made applicable to the Commune Panchayats vide Notification issued under G. O. Rt. No.

67/92/LAD., dated 22-07-1992, the Council, Mannadipet Commune Panchayat is approved for the Formulations

of Prohibition and Regulation of Wall Posters, Hoardings, Flexi Boards, etc. In the selected places/areas in

Mannadipet Commune Panchayat Jurisdiction as per the decision of the Government of Puducherry. Accordingly,

this Commune Panchayat is hereby published the places of regulated/prohibited areas for displaying Banners,

Hoardings, Flexi Boards, etc. in the Mannadipet Commune Panchayat Jurisdiction for the information to the public

and necessary permission shall be obtained before the erection of boards. If, any violation for displaying the

abovesaid boards other than the permitted area will be punishable as per the Commune Panchayats Act, 1973.
