TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
1. Sealed tenders are invited offering the rate for
purchase of old and unserviceable articles mentioned
in the Annexure-1 belongs to Rajiv Gandhi Government
Industrial Training Institute, Mahe.
2. The tenders in a sealed cover superscribing as
“Tender for the purchase of unserviceable items”
should be addressed to the Principal, Rajiv Gandhi
Government Industrial Training Institute, East Palloor,
Post- Chokli-670 672, so as to reach this Office on or
before 21-2-2018 at 10.00 a.m. and will be opened
on the same day at 10.30 a.m. in the presence of
attending tenderers, if any. Tender will be awarded to
the highest bidder on the spot.
3. Those who are interested to participate in the
tender must deposit an earnest money of ` 8,000
(Rupees eight thousand only). The earnest money
deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be returned
after finalising the tender/auction sale and that of
successful bidder will be kept towards the cost of the
items.
4. The tender will be conducted separately for each
trade items, furniture items and dismantled electrical
items. Tenderers can participate in whole or in part.
tenderers those interested may inspect the items on
as-is-where-is basis before they submit the tender to
know exact condition of the items kept, on any working
day till 20-2-2018 up to 4.00 p.m.
5. Tenders received after the due date and time will
not be accepted. If, the highest rate quoted by the
tenderer is the below upset price, then the open auction
will be conducted on the same day. However, in the
open auction, tenderers those who have submitted
sealed tenders are only will be permitted.
6. The successful tenderers should pay the full
amount of bid immediately along with GST if any, after
completion of tender/auction sale finalisation and
should remove the condemned items within a week
(on working days only) at their own risk and expenses.
7. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value
of the sold goods will be admitted. Successful
tenderers while removing the items should take all
safety measures. Any loss or injury to life or damage
to Government property will be viewed seriously
and he/she will be alone responsible for the loss/
damage and is bound to repair/replace the same.
8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reasons
thereof. Any breach of the rules of tender notice will
result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposited.
In case of any dispute arises, the decision of the
Principal will be the final.
