TENDER NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable

articles of this Department as listed in the Annexure

will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by

Tender on 7-2-2018 at 11.30 a.m.

Terms and Conditions

1. T he sealed

tenders should be addressed to

the Director, Department of Information and Publicity,

Puducherry duly superscribing on the envelope as

“Tender for purchase of unserviceable/obsolete

articles” and should reach this Office on or before

10.00 a.m. on 7-2-2018. The tenders will be opened at

11.30.am. on the same day in the presence of tenderers

present if any, in the Chamber of the undersigned

at No. 18, Belcombe Street, Puducherry-605 001.

2. The tender will be awarded to the highest

tenderer on the spot.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)

along with sealed tender. The earnest money deposit

of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the

same day soon after completion of tender sale.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount soon after the completion of the tender sale

and should clear the tender sale materials at his own

arrangement/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same day,

failing which the Office will not be held responsible

either for the safe custody or for loss or damage of

articles once the tender sale is over.

5. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the

rate applicable at the time of tender sale.

6. No claim on the quantity or quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender sale is over.

7. The intending

tenderers can

inspect the

unserviceable articles during the office hours on any

working day but, on or before the tender sale date at

this

8. The tenders offered after the due date and time

will be rejected.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on a holiday, the tender

sale will be held on the next working day.

10. Tender sale is subject to the discretion of the

undersigned whose decision will be final in case of any

dispute.

11. Along with the tender, a copy of any one of the

following self attested documents should be submitted.

a) Aadhaar Card;

b) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card;

c) Valid Driving Licence.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for a

sale of unserviceable items in a lot system belonging

to the Hostels maintained by this Department in

as-is-where-is condition.

2. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at

the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and

12.30 p.m. from 30-01-2018 to 08-02-2018 with the

permission of the officer concerned. Copies of tender

schedule can be had in person on payment of ` 100

plus Sales tax/VAT as admissible (non-refundable).

3. Sealed tenders in the prescribed tender Form

addressed to the Senior Accounts Officer, Adi Dravidar

Welfare Department, Puducherry superscribed as

“Tender for purchase of unserviceable articles” should

reach this office on or before 16-02-2018 by 3.00

p.m. Each tenderer should enclose a Demand Draft for

an amount of ` 10,000 drawn in favour of the Senior

Accounts Officer, Adi Dravidar Welfare Department,

Puducherry as earnest money deposit.

4. Tenders will be opened on 16-02-2018 at 4.30

p.m. in the office of the undersigned in the presence

of the tenderers who are present at the time of

opening. If, the opening day happens to be a holiday, the

tender will be opened on the next working day.

5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the

undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted

on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as

minimum bid.

6. The following self attested photo copy of the

documents/certificates must be enclosed along with

tender:-

(a) Valid VAT/GST/ST Certificate.

(b) PAN Card.

Driving Licence.

Tenders without the certificate/documents will be

rejected.

7. Individuals/Partner of a firm who have/has been

punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any

Criminal Case is under process, is not eligible for

participating in the Tender-cum-Auction. Any false

representation is found during the tender process, the

tender offered by them/him will be cancelled and their/

his earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

8. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the

tender process, the tenderer(s) will be removed from

the place of auction, also his/their tender will be

rejected and the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

9. The earnest money deposit of the successful

tenderer will be adjusted against the sale proceeds and

the earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be discharged/returned immediately.

10. Any other person than the tenderer or his

authorised person will not be admitted at the time of

opening the tenders/auction.

11. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to

the successful tenderer after finalisation of the tender.

Successful tenderer only will be allowed to clear/

remove the materials.

12. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of

articles plus applicable Sales tax/GST and make his

own arrangements to clear/remove the articles

immediately. Otherwise the earnest money deposit will

be forfeited.

13. This office will not be in any way held

responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold

articles. Once the tender is finalised, no claim on the

quantity and quality of the materials will be

entertained.

14. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any

or all the tenders without assigning any reasons thereof

and the decision of the undersigned in this regard will

be final and binding on all the tenders.
