Puducherry, the 25th January 2018.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed/Open tenders offering the rates are invited

for sale of old newspapers/unserviceable articles/

scraps mentioned in the Annexure belonging to the

Office of the Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry in

“as-is-where-is” condition by tender-cum-public

auction on 27-02-2018 in this Office.

Conditions for Sale

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Labour Officer, Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry,

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of old newspapers/unserviceable articles/

scraps” and send to reach the undersigned on or before

27-02-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders received will

be opened at 4.00 p.m on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers, if any, in the Office of the Labour

Officer, Puducherry Building and Other Construction

Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as

minimum upset price and then public auction will be

started immediately.

3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in

cash with the Office of the Labour Officer, Puducherry

Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare

Board, Puducherry before the commencement of

auction. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be refunded immediately after

the tender/auction sale is over.

4. The successful bidder should pay the entire

amount soon after the auction is over and clear the

auctioned articles at his own cost within 24 hours,

failing which the Office will not be held responsible

either for safe custody or for loss or damage of the

articles once the auction sale is over.

5. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

6. The intending tenderers/bidders can inspect the

articles during the office hours in the Office of the

Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers

Welfare Board, at No. D1, Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry.

7. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on any holiday, the next

working day will be the date of tender/auction sale.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
