tenders should be addressed to

The Principal, Government ITI for Women, Thittacherry

Road, T.R. Pattinam, Karaikal-609 606 on the envelope

as “Tender for the purchase of old newspapers” and sent

to reach him on or before 3.00 p.m. on 26-3-2018. The

tenders will be opened at 3.30. p.m. on the same day

in presence of the tenderers, if any, by the undersigned.

3. The tenders received after due date and time will

be rejected.

4. The intending

tenderers should deposit an

amount of

` 300 (Rupees three hundred only) as

earnest money deposit on the date of tender sale and

the earnest money deposit of unsuccessful tenderers

will be refunded immediately after the tender sale is over.

5. The intending tenderers may inspect the old

newspapers during the office hours on any working day

with the permission of the undersigned.

6. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately along with Sales tax, if any, and

clear all the items sold within 24 hours at his own risk

and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit will

be forfeited into the Puducherry Government account.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

newspapers will be admitted once the tender sale is

finalised.

9. The undersigned reserves every right to accept or

reject any tender or to postpone the tender without

assigning any reason thereof.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

11. Rate should be mentioned for each item

separately.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed/Open tenders offering the rates are invited

for sale of old newspapers/unserviceable articles/

scraps mentioned in the Annexure belonging to the

Office of the Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry in

“as-is-where-is” condition by tender-cum-public

auction on 27-02-2018 in this Office.

Conditions for Sale

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Labour Officer, Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry,

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of old newspapers/unserviceable articles/

scraps” and send to reach the undersigned on or before

27-02-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders received will

be opened at 4.00 p.m on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers, if any, in the Office of the Labour

Officer, Puducherry Building and Other Construction

Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as

minimum upset price and then public auction will be

started immediately.

3. The intending bidders should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in

cash with the Office of the Labour Officer, Puducherry

Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare

Board, Puducherry before the commencement of

auction. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers/bidders will be refunded immediately after

the tender/auction sale is over.

4. The successful bidder should pay the entire

amount soon after the auction is over and clear the

auctioned articles at his own cost within 24 hours,

failing which the Office will not be held responsible

either for safe custody or for loss or damage of the

articles once the auction sale is over.

5. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

6. The intending tenderers/bidders can inspect the

articles during the office hours in the Office of the

Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers

Welfare Board, at No. D1, Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry.

7. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on any holiday, the next

working day will be the date of tender/auction sale.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
