Puducherry, the 1st February 2018.

AUCTION NOTICE

It is hereby notified that the undermentioned lands attached in satisfaction of arrears of Commercial Tax

due by Tmt. P. Vasanthi, Proprietrix of M/s. Vasanthi Automobiles, Puducherry, the present registered landholder/

interested person and a revenue defaulter will be sold by e-auction in the website www.eauction.gov.in on the 7th day

of March, 2018 by 11.00 a.m. or on another day to which the sale may be adjourned and the auction will be

knocked down to the highest bidder.

2. The minimum price payable by the purchaser of the land is ` 10,86,50,000.

3. e-auction of the land will be held through the website www.eauction.gov.in in "as-is-where-is" condition.

4. All the interesting bidders are compulsorily required to possess Digital Signature Certificate.

The conditions and training classes for the participants are imparted at e-procurement cell at the Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry.

5. Purchasers will be required to deposit 15% of the purchase money before the sale and if, they fail to

pay the remaining amount within 30 days from the day of sale, the money deposited by them shall be liable to

forfeiture.

6. The purchasers have to cautiously ascertain the veracity of the documents, ownership of the property,

extent and encumbrance if any, before participating in the bid on their own.

7. The copies of documents and Encumbrance Certificate pertaining to the property can be downloaded

from the website www.eauction.gov.in through Auction ID. The bidders shall possess PAN number.

8. Necessary arrangements will be made by this Office for the participants of the bid to visit the land to

be auctioned.

9. The Government will not be responsible for the mistakes if any, regarding the details and extent of the

land.

10. The sale will not be final until confirmed by the Collector or other Officer empowered in that behalf.

The authorised Officer has every right to accept the bid amount, reject, adjourn or cancel the bid without citing

any reason.

11. The purchaser of the land has to bear the expenses regarding Sale Deed, Registration fees, Stamp

fee, Tax relating to the property and other miscellaneous legal expenses. The Sale Deed will be registered in the

name of the successful bidder.

12. After completion of the e-auction, the earnest money deposit of the unsuccesful bidders will be

refunded.

13. The auction is subject to The Puducherry Revenue Recovery Act, 1970 and the terms and conditions

mentioned above.

14. The details of the immovable property to be auctioned, the earnest money deposit to be paid by the

bidder to the Department, terms and conditions and security deposit can be learnt through the website

www.eauction.gov.in.
