Puducherry, the 20th February 2018.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease

of usufructs of 1 (one) of Jack tree, 10 (ten) Mango trees in

the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009

for the period up to 31-12-2018.

2. The tenders should reach the Office of the

Director of Industries and Commerce, Industrial

Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or

before 9-3-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be

opened by the Deputy Director of Industries and

Commerce in this Office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day

in the presence of the tenderers who choose to be present.

3. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the

usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,

Puducherry at any time during the office hours.

5. The intending tenderers should submit the tender

in sealed cover superscribed with the words “Tender

for taking on lease of the usufructs trees in the

Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady”.

6. The tender should be in whole of rupees only.

The tender from those who are in arrears to this Office

as on 9-3-2018 will not be accepted.

7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)

in cash of earnest money deposit along with the

tender. The earnest money deposit will be refunded to

the unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender

process is completed.

(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the

balance of tender amount immediately, by deducting

the earnest money deposit amount.

(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by

the successful tenderer within a week time. Only

after receipt of the same, the successful tenderer

would be allowed to enjoy the usufructs.

8. If, the tender date i.e., 9-3-2018 happens to be

a holiday, the tenders will be accepted on the next

working day up to 3.00 p.m. and will be opened at

3.30 p.m. by the Deputy Director of Industries and

Commerce.

9. This office reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.

10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the

decision of the Director of Industries and Commerce,

Puducherry will be the final.
