NOTIFICATION
The notice of voluntary retirement given under rule
48-A of Central Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1972
by Tmt. V. Thenmozhi Babu, Programme Officer,
Department of Women and Child Development, Puducherry,
is accepted and she is admitted into voluntary retirement
with effect from the afternoon of 28-2-2018.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable
articles of this Institution as listed in the Annexure
will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by
Tender-cum-Auction sale on 19-3-2018 at 10.30 a.m.
Terms and conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Principal, Tagore Government Arts and Science
College, Puducherry duly superscribing on the
envelope as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable/
obsolete articles” and should reach this office on or
before 10.00 a.m. on 19-3-2018. The tenders will be
opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence of
tenderers present if any, in the chamber of the
undersigned at Tagore Government Arts and Science
College, Puducherry-605 008.
2. The tender will be awarded to the highest
tenderer on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted
on the spot keeping the highest tender amount is
treated as minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
earnest money of ` 1,500 (Rupees one thousand five
hundred only) along with sealed tender. The earnest
money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be
refunded on the same day soon after completion of the
tender/auction sale.
5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/
auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his
own arrangement/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the

same day, failing which the office will not be held
responsible either for the safe custody or for loss or
damage of articles once the tender/auction sale is
over.
6. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the
rate applicable at the time of tender/auction sale.
7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale
is over.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the
unserviceable articles during the office hours from
10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on any working day, but, on
or before the date of tender/auction sale at this
Institution with the permission of the undersigned.
9. The tenders offered after the due date and time
will be rejected.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this
regard will be final and binding on all the tenders. If,
the tender/auction date falls on a holiday, the tender/
auction sale will be held on the next working day.
11. Along with the tender, a copy of all the
following self attested documents should be submitted
by the tenderer.
(a) Aadhaar Card;
(b) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card;
(c) Valid GST Certificate.
12. Individuals/Partner of a firm who have/has been
punished under criminal procedure code or any
criminal case is under process is not eligible for
participating in the Tender-cum-Auction. Any false
representation is found during the tender process, the
tender offered by them/him will be cancelled and their/
his earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
13. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be
removed from the place of auction, also his/their
tender will be rejected and the earnest money deposit
will be forfeited.
14. Any other person than the tenderer or his
authorized person will not be admitted at the time of
opening the tenders/auction.
15. This office will not be in any way held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the
sold articles. Once the tender is finalised, no claim on
the quantity and quality of the materials will be
entertained.

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for
sale of hypo solution, old x-ray films, x-ray wrappers,
plastic containers, gunny bags, polythene bags and
old newspaper (English and Tamil) belonging to
the Indira Gandhi Government General Hospital and
Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry for period of one
year from 15-03-2018 to 14-03-2019.

3. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at
the office of the undersigned between 10.30 a.m. and
11.30 a.m. on 12-03-2018 and 13-03-2018 with the
permission of the Officer concerned. Copies of tender
schedule can be had in person on payment of ` 100
plus Sales tax/VAT as admissible (non-refundable).
4. Sealed tenders in the prescribed tender Form
addressed to the Medical Superintendent, Indira
Gandhi Government General Hospital and Postgraduate
Institute, Puducherry superscribed as "Tender for
purchase of unserviceable articles" should reach this
office from 13-03-2018 to 14-03-2018 by 3.00 p.m.
Each tenderer should be enclosed a Demand Draft for
an amount of ` 10,000, drawn in favour of the Junior
Accounts Officer, Indira Gandhi Government General
Hospital and Postgraduate Institute, Puducherry, as
earnest money deposit.
5. Tenders will be opened on 14-03-2018 at 4.00 p.m.
the at office of the undersigned in the presence of the
tenderers who are present at the time of opening.
6. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
bidder is found to be not acceptable by the undersigned,
public auction will be conducted on the spot keeping
the highest tender amount as minimum bid.

7. The following self attested photocopy of the
documents/certificates must be enclosed along with
the tender
(a) Valid GST Certificate
(b) PAN Card
(c) Aadhar Card/Valid Family Ration Card/Valid
Driving Licence.
Tender without these certificates/documents will
be rejected.
8. Individuals/Partner of a firm, who have/has been

12. Acceptance of the tender will be intimated to
the successful tenderer after finalisation of the tender.
Successful tenderer only will be allowed to clear/
remove the materials.
13. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
cost of articles plus applicable GST and make his own
arrangement to clear/remove the articles immediately.
Otherwise, the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
14. This office will not the in any way be held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the
sold articles, Once the tender is finalised, no claim,
on the quantity and quality of the materials will be
entertained.
15. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all tenders without assigning any reason thereof and
the decision of the undersigned in this regard will be
final and binding on all the tenders.

Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for sale
of condemned and unserviceable store articles
mentioned in the Annexure belonging to the Office of
the Executive Engineer, Buildings and Roads (Central)
Division, Public Works Department, Puducherry in
as-is-where-is condition by tender-cum-public auction
on 7-3-2018 in this office.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Executive Engineer, Buildings and Roads (Central),
Labour Donnais Street, Public Works Department,
Puducherry, superscribing on the envelope as “Tender
for purchase of condemned and unserviceable store
articles” and sent to reach the undersigned on or
before 7-3-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders received will
be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence
of the tenderers, if any, by the undersigned.
3. The tenders received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
4. The highest rate quoted will be treated as
minimum upset price and then public auction will be
started immediately.
5. The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as
earnest money deposit in the Office of the Executive
Engineer, Buildings and Roads (Central) Division,
before the commencement of auction. The earnest
money deposit of unsuccessful tenderers will be
refunded immediately after the tender/auction sale is
over.
6. The intending tenderers may inspect the
old unserviceable articles during the office hours on
any working day with the permission of the
undersigned.
7. The successful bidder should pay the entire
amount immediately along with CGST and SGST as
applicable and clear all the items sold within 24 hours
at his own risk and cost, failing which the office will
not be held responsible either for safe custody or for
loss or damage of the articles once the auction sale is
over.
8. No claim on the quality and quantity of the
articles will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

9. The undersigned reserves every right to accept or
reject any tender or to postpone the tender without
assigning any reason thereof.

TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease
of usufructs of 1 (one) of Jack tree, 10 (ten) Mango trees in
the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009
for the period up to 31-12-2018.
2. The tenders should reach the Office of the
Director of Industries and Commerce, Industrial
Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 on or
before 9-3-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be
opened by the Deputy Director of Industries and
Commerce in this Office at 3.30 p.m. on the same day
in the presence of the tenderers who choose to be present.
3. Tenders received after the due date and time will
be rejected.
4. The intending tenderers may inspect the
usufructs trees in the Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady,
Puducherry at any time during the office hours.
5. The intending tenderers should submit the tender
in sealed cover superscribed with the words “Tender
for taking on lease of the usufructs trees in the
Industrial Estate, Thattanchavady”.
6. The tender should be in whole of rupees only.
The tender from those who are in arrears to this Office
as on 9-3-2018 will not be accepted.
7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an
amount of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)
in cash of earnest money deposit along with the
tender. The earnest money deposit will be refunded to
the unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender
process is completed.
(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the
balance of tender amount immediately, by deducting
the earnest money deposit amount.
(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by
the successful tenderer within a week time. Only
after receipt of the same, the successful tenderer
would be allowed to enjoy the usufructs.
8. If, the tender date i.e., 9-3-2018 happens to be
a holiday, the tenders will be accepted on the next
working day up to 3.00 p.m. and will be opened at
3.30 p.m. by the Deputy Director of Industries and
Commerce.
9. This office reserves the right to accept or reject
any or all the tenders without assigning any reason
thereof.
10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the
decision of the Director of Industries and Commerce,
Puducherry will be the final.
