TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned

offering the highest rates per kg. of unserviceable/

damaged library books, available in the office of the

Headmaster, Government High School, Vizhithiyur,

Karaikal mentioned below in “as-is-where-is” condition:

Terms and conditions

1. The tenders should be addressed to the

Headmaster, Government High School, Vizhithiyur,

Karaikal superscribing as “Tender for the purchase of

Unserviceable/Damaged Library Books” so as to reach

the undersigned on or before 10-4-2018 by 4.00 p.m.

2. Tenders received after the due date and time

will summarily be rejected.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount

of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as earnest

money deposit before submission of tenders.

4. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded after the tender sale is

over.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount immediately and clear all the articles within

24 hours at his own risk and cost, failing which the

earnest money deposit will be forfeited.

6. No claim about the quantity, quality and value

of the items will be admitted once the tender is

finalized.

7. The intending tenderers can inspect the old

items with the permission of the Headmaster,

Government High School, Vizhithiyur between 10.00 a.m.

and 3.00 p.m. from 5-4-2018 to 6-4-2018.

8. The sale will be effected only to the highest

tenderer.

9. The Government can’t take responsibility for

the safe custody of the articles once the tender sale

is confirmed.

10. The GST as per the rate in force will be

charged extra on the amount finalised.

11. The tenders will be opened on 11-4-2018 by

11.00 a.m. if, the tenders opening day happens to be

a public holiday, the same will be opened on the next

working day.

12. Any incomplete tender received is liable for

rejection.

13. The undersigned reserves the right to accept

or reject any tender without assigning any reason

thereof. The decision of the undersigned is final in

case of any dispute.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are

invited from the local tenderers/bidders for the sale

of the following old items belonging to the Chief

Secretariat, Puducherry.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Deputy Secretary to Government (Establishment),

Chief Secretariat, Puducherry duly superscribing on

the envelope as “Tender for purchase of old

newspapers, magazines, waste papers and scrap

materials (plastic and metal)” and to reach the

undersigned on or before 28-3-2018 at 12.00 noon.

The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same

day in the presence of the tenderers present in the

office of the undersigned at the Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry.

3. If necessary, auction will be conducted among

the tenderers to fix the highest rate.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of

` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as

earnest money deposit. Tenderers should submit a copy

of the Aadhaar as I.D. and Address Proof along with

GST particulars.

5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately soon after the

tender/auction sale is over. Tenderers should produce

valid I.D. Proof for returning their earnest money

deposit amount.

6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately as and when call made and clear

the old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,

failing which the earnest money deposit will be

forfeited.

9. No claim on the quantity and quality for the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during office hours in the Chief Secretariat,

Puducherry.

11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.



The undermentioned person has requested for issue of permission to set up the following industry within

the Karaikal Municipal limits as follows :

13. The highest tender/bid rate will be valid

for 1 (one) year from the date of the issue of the

acceptance letter by the undersigned.

14. GST will be collected on the sale of old

newspapers, magazines, waste papers and scrap

material as per the rates prevailing at the time of

disposal/sale. Tenderers/Bidders with Registered

Goods and Services Tax (GST) only must participate

in the tender/auction.
