TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned

offering the rate for the purchase of old newspapers

(Tamil and English) as mentioned below:

2. The rate should be quoted for each item

separately.

3. T he tenders in sealed covers superscribed as

“Tender for the purchase of old newspapers”should be

addressed to the “Labour Officer, Office of the Labour

Officer, Perunthalaivar Kamarajar Administrative Complex,

Madagadi, Karaikal-609 602” and sent to this office,

so as to reach before 3.00 p.m. on 11-7-2018

Wednesday. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers those

who are present at that time. In case, the day for tender

opening being declared as public holiday for any

reason, the tenders will be received and opened at the

same time on the next working day.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 100 (Rupees one hundred only) in cash

as earnest money deposit along with the tenders.

The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful

tenderers will be refunded immediately after the

finalization of the tender.

5. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

6. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any resons thereof.

Contravention of the rules of the tender notice will

result in the forfeiture of the earnest money deposit.

7. The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh

the old newspapers, pay the cost thereof along with

applicable Sales tax/GST and clear the items wihtin 24

hours from the time of the tender sale is over at his

own risk and cost, failing which his earnest money

deposit will be forfeited.

8. No claim on the quantity and quality and value

of the said goods will be entertained, once the tender

is finalized.

9. The materials can be inspected during office

hours on any working day in this office.

10. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
