NOTIFICATION
O n a t t a i n i n g t h e a g e o f s u p e r a n n u a t i o n ,
Thiru. G. Ganesan, Deputy Registrar of Co-operative
Societies (Group ‘B’ Gazetted) of the Co-operative
Department, Puducherry, shall retire from service with
effect from the afternoon of 30-6-2018.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned for
sale of old newspapers and magazines (Tamil and
English) belonging to the Indira Gandhi College of
Arts and Science, Kathirkamam, Puducherry for a
period of three years from November 2014 to
December 2017.
2. The rate should be quoted for each items as
follows:

3. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at
the office of the undersigned between 10.00 a.m. and
4.00 p.m. on 20-06-2018. Sealed tenders superscribed
as "Tender for the old newspapers and magazines"
should reach this office on or before 3.00 p.m. on
21-06-2018. The tenders will be opened at 4.00 p.m.
on the same day in the presence of the tenderers
present in the Office of the Principal, Indira
Gandhi College of Arts and Science, Kathirkamam,
Puducherry-605 009. The tenders received after the
due date and time will summarily be rejected.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
earnest money of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)
in cash along with sealed tender. The earnest money
deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded
after finalization of the tender/auction sale on the
same day and earnest money deposit of successful
tenderer will be deducted towards the cost of items.
5. The highest rate quoted in the tender will be
treated as minimum price and then the public auction
will be conducted for each item.
6. Along with the tenders, a copy of all the
following self attested documents should be submitted
by the tenderer: (a) Aadhaar Card, (b) Valid Family
Ration Card/Smart Card, (c) Valid GST Certificate.
7. The successful tenderer should remit the entire
amount in cash soon after the tender/auction sale is
over with GST as applicable as per rules and clear all
the items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost,
failing which this office will not be held responsible
either for safe custody or for loss or damage of the
articles once the tender/auction sale is over. The
successful tenderer should make his own arrangements
for the disposal of the newspapers and magazines.
8. No claim about the quantity, quality and the value
of the sold goods will be admitted after the tender is
finalized.
9. The bid amount finalized in this auction sale will
be valid for one year from the date of opening of the
tender.
10. Individuals/Partner of a firm who have/has been
punished under Criminal Procedure Code or any
criminal case is under process is not eligible to
participating in the tender-cum-public auction. Any
false representation is found during the tender
process, the tender offered by them/him will be
cancelled and their/his/her earnest money deposit will
be forfeited.
11. If, any/all participant(s) misbehaves/during the
tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be
removed from the place of auction, also their/his/her
tender will be rejected and the earnest money deposit
will be forfeited.
12. The undersigned reserves every right to accept
or reject any tender or to postpone the tender/auction
sale without assigning any reason thereof.
13. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
