NOTICE OF ATTACHMENT

Notice of attachment to Thiru M. Veerasamy, son

of Thiru Maniyan, Proprietor of M/s. Amurtham

Petroleum Agencies, Madagadipet, Puducherry in

the Madagadipet Revenue Village of Villianur

Taluk, Puducherry.

Take notice that as you have not paid or shown

sufficient cause for the non-payment of ` 31,34,055

(Rupees thirty-one lakhs thirty-four thousand and

fifty-five only) with 12% interest per annum, although

the said sum has been duly demanded in writing from

you the landed properties belonging to you located at

R.S. No. 107/4A and 108/10 of Madagadipet Revenue

Village measuring to an extent of 16.29 ares and

13.00 ares respectively, are hereby placed under

attachment towards the arrears of Tax and penalty

payable to Commercial Taxes Department, Puducherry

and that unless the arrear due by you with interest @

12% per annum and other charges be paid within the

fifteen days, the landed property with building and

machinery if any, will be brought to sale in due course

of law. You will further take notice that from the date

of this Attachment Notice until the date of sale of your

land is hereby attached, you are and will be held, liable

for all kists thereon accruing, and the said kists will be

demanded of, and levied from you as arrears of land revenue.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram

(exclusive of Sales tax/GST) for each item of

newspapers are invited by the undersigned for the

purchase of following old newspapers (Tamil and

English) of this office as detailed below.

2. Tenders superscribed as “Tender for the purchase

of old newspapers” should be addressed to the Senior

Accounts Officer, Co-operative Department, V.V.P. Nagar,

Thattanchavady, Puducherry-605 009 in a sealed cover

so as to reach this office on or before 13-7-2018

at 3.30 p.m. The received tenders will be opened on

the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence of those

tenderers or their representatives who are present.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit a sum of

` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) in cash as earnest

money deposit along with the tender. The earnest

money deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be

refunded immediately, soon after the tender sale is over.

4. The old newspapers may be inspected during

office hours on any working day.

5. Tenders received after the due date and time

prescribed will summarily be rejected.

6. No claims on the quality and quantity of the

articles, will be admitted once the tender is finalized.

7. The successful tenderer should remove the old

newspapers at his own cost within 24 hours of

acceptance of his/her tender after remitting the total

cost of old newspapers and Sales tax/GST thereon at

the prevailing rules. The successful tenderer should

make his own arrangement to weigh the old

newspapers.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept/

reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

9. If, the tender opening day happens to be a public

holiday, the same will be opened on the next working

day.
