outbreak of NIPAH Virus in parts of Kozhikkode

District, Kerala;

Whereas, Government of Kerala has withdrawn the

warning status given, since the spread of the disease

has been contained;

Now, therefore, the undersigned withdrawns the

notification cited above and notify that there is no

more threat to Mahe region due to the NIPAH Virus

outbreak.

NOTIFICATION

On the recommendations of the High Court of

Judicature at Madras and in exercise of the powers

conferred by sub-section (2) of section 7 and by

sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 7A of the Industrial

Disputes Act, 1947 (Central Act 14 of 1947), read with

rule 5 of the Industrial Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957,

the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to

appoint Tmt. S. Mary Anselam, as Presiding Officer of

the Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Puducherry

for the period from 13-4-2016 afternoon till

12-5-2016 afternoon for the whole of the Union

territory of Puducherry for the purposes of the said Act.

2. The notification shall be deemed to have come

into force with effect from 13th day of April, 2016

afternoon.

NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that

an industrial dispute has arisen between the management

of

M/s.

Hindustan Unilever Limited, Detergents

Factory, Vadamangalam, Puducherry and Thiru A. Velu,

Villupuram District, over reinstatement with back wages,

in respect of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to

this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of

the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the

powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of

section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947

(Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the

Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute

be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for

adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry, shall

submit the Award within 3 months from the date of

issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section

(2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947

and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial

Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the

dispute shall file a statement of claim complete with

relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses to

the Labour Court, Puducherry, within 15 days of the

receipt of the order of reference and also forward a

copy of such statement to each one of the opposite

parties involved in the dispute.

Act, 2003 (Act No. 36 of 2003), is pleased to appoint

Thiru D. Gunasekaran, Superintending Engineer,

Electricity Department, Puducherry, as Chief Electrical

Inspector in the newly constituted Puducherry Electrical

Inspectorate, Puducherry.

2. The pay and other allowances of the Officer shall

be drawn with retrospective effect from 1-12-2017,

(i.e.), from the date of joining the Department after his

relief from CGRE, on the condition that it will be

initially debited against the accounts of PPCL and

thereafter, the entire expenditure incurred shall be

reimbursed by Electricity Department, Puducherry.

TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for the sale of old

condemned furniture items of the Government High

School/Government Middle School under the control

of the Chief Educational Officer, Puducherry on

27-7-2018.

(ii) Government Middle School, Molapakkam,

Puducherry.

2. Tenders in plain paper should be sealed and

addressed

to

the

Chief

Educational

Officer,

Directorate of School Education, Puducherry duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the

purchase of old condemned furniture items” and sent

to reach the undersigned on or before 27-7-2018.

at 4.00 p.m. The tenders will be opened on the same

day at 4.15 p.m. in the presence of the tenderers who

are present. The rates for both Schools should be

quoted separately in one cover.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as

earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit of

the

unsuccessful

tenderers

will

be

returned

immediately after tender sale is over.

4. Tenders received after the due date and time will

be rejected.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount and clear the items within 24 hours at his own

risk and cost, failing which the earnest money deposit

will be forfeited.

6. The intending tenderers may inspect the

condemned articles during School hours on any

working day with the prior permission of the

concerned Headmasters in the above Schools without

any disturbance to the students.

7. No claim on the quality and quantity of the

articles will be admitted once the tender is finalised.

8. GST at the rate applicable will be charged.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of undersigned

will be the final.

10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any or all the tenders without assigning any

reason thereof.
