ORDER
Whereas, an order was made vide reference cited,
directing the winding up of the affairs of the Swadeshi
Cotton Mills Staff Co-operative Credit Society
Limited, No. P.239 (for brevity “the society”);
2. And whereas, the Society is not indebted to the
financing bank, viz., Pondicherry State Co-operative
Bank Limited and hence, it was decided not to consult
the financing bank eventhough it is required under
sub-section (1) of section 127 of the Puducherry
Co-operative Societies Act, 1972;
3. And whereas, the Society is not indebted to the
financing bank, viz., Pondicherry State Co-operative
Bank Limited and hence, it was decided not to consult
the financing bank before winding up the Society;
4. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers
conferred on me under sub-section (1) of section 127 of
the Puducherry Co-operative Societies Act, 1972, read
with clause (a) of rule 66 of the Puducherry
Co-operative Societies Rules, 1973, I hereby appoint
Thiru Lanka Veeraswamy, Co-operative Officer as the
Liquidator of the Swadeshi Cotton Mills Staff
Co-operative Credit Society Limited No. P. 239;

5. Thiru K.Srinivasan, Co-operative Officer/
Administrator of the Society is directed to handover the
charges of the Society to the said Liquidator. Charges
of the Society handed over and taken over shall be
informed to this office;
6. On taking over of charges of the Society, the
Liquidator shall arrange to discharge the liabilities of
the Society subject to availability of funds from the
realizable assets of the Society. On completion of the
liquidation process, the Liquidator shall submit a
report to me to make an order for the cancellation of
registration of the Society under section 129 of the
said Act.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable
articles of this Institution as listed in the Annexure
will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by
Tender-cum-Auction sale on 31-07-2018 at 10.30 a.m.
Terms and conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Principal, Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic
College. Puducherry, duly superscribing on the
envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable/
obsolete articles" and should reach this office on
or before 31-07-2018 at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will
be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the
presence of the tenderers present if any, in the chamber
of the undersigned at Motilal Nehru Government
Polytechnic College, Puducherry-605 008.
2. The tender will be awarded to the highest
tenderer on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted
on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as
the minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
earnest money of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)
along with sealed tender. The earnest money deposit
of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the
same day soon after completion of the tender/auction
sale.
