In partial modification of the G.O. Ms. No. 07,
dated 2-3-2017 of the Industrial Development
(Power) Department, Puducherry and in pursuance of
Article 80 of the Articles of Association of the
Puducherry Power Corporation Limited, Puducherry,
the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable
articles of this Institution as listed in the Annexure
will be disposed off in as-is-where-is condition by
Tender-cum-Auction sale on 31-07-2018 at 10.30 a.m.
Terms and conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Principal, Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic
College. Puducherry, duly superscribing on the
envelope as "Tender for purchase of unserviceable/
obsolete articles" and should reach this office on
or before 31-07-2018 at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will
be opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the
presence of the tenderers present if any, in the chamber
of the undersigned at Motilal Nehru Government
Polytechnic College, Puducherry-605 008.
2. The tender will be awarded to the highest
tenderer on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted
on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as
the minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an
earnest money of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only)
along with sealed tender. The earnest money deposit
of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the
same day soon after completion of the tender/auction
sale.

5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/
auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his
own arrangements/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same
day, failing of which the office will not be held
responsible either for the safe custody or for loss or
damage of artciles once the tender auction sale is over.
6. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the
rate applicable at the time of tender/auction sale.
7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale
is over.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the
unserviceable articles during the office hours from
10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon on any working day, but, on
or before the date of tender/auction sale at this
Institution with the permission of the undersigned.
9. The tenders offered after the due date and time
will be rejected.
10. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason
thereof and the decision of the undersigned in this
regard will be final and binding on all the tenders.
If, the tender/auction date falls on a holiday, the
tender/ auction sale will be held on the next working
day.
11. Along with the tender, a copy of all the
following self attested documents should be submitted
by the tenderer.
(a) Aadhaar Card
(b) Valid Family Ration Card/Smart Card
(c) Valid GST Certificate
12. Individuals/Partner of a firm who have/has been
punished under criminal procedure code or any
criminal case is under process is not eligible for
participating in the Tender-cum-Auction. Any false
representation is found during the tender process, the
tender offered by them him will be cancelled and their/
his earnest money deposit will be forfeited.
13. If, any or all participant(s) misbehaves during
the tender/auction process, the tenderer(s) will be
removed from the place of auction, also his/their
tender(s) will be rejected and the earnest money
deposit will be forfeited.
14. Any other person than the tenderer or his
authorised person will not be admitted at the time of
opening the tenders/auction process.
15. This office will not be in any way held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the
sold articles. Once the tender is finalised, no claim on
the quantity and quality of the materials will be
entertained.

TENDER NOTICE
Sealed tenders are invited by the undersigned
offering the rate per kilogram for the purchase of old
newspapers (Tamil/English) and magazines as mentioned
below. The rate should be quoted for each item per
kilogram separately.

The tenders in sealed covers superscribed as
"Tender for the purchase of old newspapers and
magazines" should be addressed to the Collector,
Karaikal and sent to this office so as to reach on or
before 27-07-2018 at 3.00 p.m and the same will be
opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. in the presence
of the tenderers those who are present at that time.
In case, the tender opening day is being declared as
public holiday for any reason, the tenders will be
received and opened at the same time on the next
working day.
The tenderers should deposit an amount of ` 500
(Rupees five hundred only) as earnest money deposit.
The earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately after the
finalisation of the tenders.
The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any tender without assigning any reasons
thereof. Contravention of the rules of the tender
notice will result in the forfeiture of the earnest
money deposit.
The successful tenderer shall arrange to weigh
the newspapers and magazines, and pay the cost of
newspapers and magazines including GST. The items
should be cleared within one day after finalising the
tender. The materials can be inspected during office
hours on any working day.
No claim on the quantity and quality and value
of the said goods will be entertained, once the tender
is finalised.
Tenders received after the due date and time will
not be accepted and the decision of the undersigned
will be the final.
