NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government of Puducherry vide

G.O. Ms. No. 41, dated 05-08-2003 of Home

Department has instituted a Trophy namely, the Chief

Secretary’s Police Trophy for the Best Police Station

to be awarded every year and to be presented by the

Hon’ble Chief Minister during the Independence Day

celebrations.

2. And whereas, the Committee headed by the

Deputy Inspector-General of Police has proposed the

Thirubuvanai Police Station, Puducherry, for the award

of the Chief Secretary’s Police Trophy for the Best

Police Station for the year 2017.

3. Now, accordingly, the Thirubuvanai Police

Station, Puducherry, is awarded of the Cheif Secretary’s

Police Trophy for the Best Police Station for the year 2017,

which will be presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister

on the occasion of the Independence Day, 2018.

TENDER-CUM- AUCTION NOTICE

Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable

articles of this institution as listed in the Annexure will

be disposed off in as-where-is condition by tender-cum-

auction sale on 04-09-2018 at 11.00 a.m.

Terms and conditions

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Medical Superintendent, Government Hospital for

Chest

Diseases,

Gorimedu,

Puducherry,

duly

superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for purchase

of unserviceable/obsolete articles” and should reach

this office on or before 04-09-2018 at 10.00 a.m. The

tenders will be opend at 11.00 a.m. on the same day in

the presence of the tenderers present if any, in the

chamber of the undersigned at Government Hospital

for Chest Diseases, Gorimedu, Puducherry.

2. The tender will be awarded to the highest

tenderer on the spot.

3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the

tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the

undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted

on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as the

minimum upset price for bid of auction.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an

earnest money of ` 3,000 (Rupees three thousand

only) along with sealed tenders. The earnest money

deposit of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded

on the same day soon after completion of the tender/

auction sale.

5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the

entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/

auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his

own arrangements/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same

day, failing which the office will not be held

responsible either for the safe custody or for loss or

damage of articles once the tender/auction sale is over.

6. GST/Sales tax will be charged extra as per the

rate applicable at the time of tender/auction sale.

7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale

is over.
