Puducherry, the 17th September 2018.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE

Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for the

sale of old/unserviceable/damaged furniture and dead

stock items mentioned in the Annexure belonging to the

Subramania Bharathiar Government Girls’ Higher

Secondary School, Puducherry by tender-cum-public

auction on 28-09-2018. These articles will be disposed

off in a single lot and in as-is-where-is condition.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Vice-Principal, Subramania Bharathiar Government Girls’

Higher Secondary School, Puducherry, duly superscribing

on the envelope as "Tender for the purchase of old/

unserviceable articles" and sent to reach the undersigned

on or before 28-09-2018 at 11.00 a.m. The tenders will

be opened at 3.00 p.m. on the same day in the presence

of the tenderers, if any, in the Subramania Bharathiar

Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Puducherry.

If, the opening day happens to be a Public Holiday, the

tenders will be received and opened on the next working

day at the same time.

3. The higher rate quoted will be treated as

minimum upset price and then public auction will be

conducted immediately.

4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 1,500 (Rupees one thousand and

five hundred only) in cash. The earnest money deposit

of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded

immediately after the tender sale is over.

5. The successful tenderer should pay the entire

amount including Sales tax/VAT/GST as the case may

be after the auction sale is over and clear the articles

at his own cost and risk within 24 hours, failing which

the institution will not be held responsible either for

safe custody, loss or damage of the articles once the

auction is over.

6. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

articles will be admitted once the tender/auction sale

is finalized.

7. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles

during office hours in the Subramania Bharathiar

Government Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Puducherry,

on 26-09-2018 and 27-09-2018.

8. The tenders received after the due date and time

will not be entertained.

9. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender without assigning any reason thereof.

10. In the case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.

Sealed tenders offering the rates are invited for sale

of old newspapers in ‘as-is-where-is’ condition belonging

to the Office of the Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry by

tender-cum-public auction on 3-10-2018 in the Board

Office premises.

1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to

the Labour Officer, Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry,

of old newspapers” and send to reach the undersigned

on or before 3-10-2018 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders

received will be opened at 4.00 p.m. on the same day

in the presence of the tenderers, if any, in the Office of

the Labour Officer, Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, Puducherry.

2. The highest rate quoted will be treated as

minimum upset price and then the public auction will be

started immediately.

3. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest

money deposit of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only)

in cash with the Office of the Labour Officer,

Puducherry Building and Other Construction Workers

Welfare Board, Puducherry before the commencement

of auction. The earnest money deposit of the

unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded immediately

after the tender/auction sale is over.

4. The successful tenderer should pay the

entire amount soon after the auction is over and clear

all the auctioned articles at his own cost within 24 hours,

failing which the office will not be held responsible

either for sale custody or for loss or damage of the

newspapers once the auction sale is over.

5. No claim on the quantity and quality of the

newspapers will be admitted once the auction sale is over.

6. The intending tenderers can inspect the

newspapers during office working hours in the Office of

the Labour Officer, Puducherry Building and Other

Construction Workers Welfare Board, D1, Industrial

Estate, Thattanchavady, Puducherry.

7. No tenders will be received after the due date and

time prescribed above.

8. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or

reject any tender/bid without assigning any reason

thereof. If, the tender date falls on any holiday, the next

working day will be the date of tender/auction sale.

9. In case of any dispute, the decision of the

undersigned will be the final.
