NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, read with the

Notification No. F. 5/4/65-GP., dated the 11th January, 1965 of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India,

New Delhi, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, hereby makes the following rules to amend the Government of

Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Technical post of Fisherman Recruitment Rules, 2013,

namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Technical post of Fisherman (Group 'C') Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Technical post of Fisherman Recruitment Rules, 2013, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Technical post of Fisherman Recruitment Rules, 2013;

In column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 1" (` 18,000 - ` 56,900)

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

(Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post of Boat Fishery Overseer Recruitment Rules, 2014, the following rule shall be substituted,

namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post of Boat Fishery Overseer Recruitment Rules, 2014;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Sub-Inspector of Fisheries Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014,

the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Sub-Inspector of Fisheries Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2014;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 5" (` 29,200 - ` 92,300)

(b) in column (11), Note 3 shall be omitted.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Technical post of Iceman Recruitment Rules, 2013, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Technical Post of Iceman Recruitment Rules, 2013;

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'C' post of Refrigeration Supervisor and

Refrigeration Operator Recruitment Rules, 2014, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'C' post of Refrigeration Supervisor and Refrigeration Operator

Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'C' post of Refrigeration Supervisor and Refrigeration Operator Recruitment Rules, 2014, the following rule

shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'C' post of Refrigeration Supervisor and Refrigeration Operator Recruitment Rules, 2014;

(i) In the Schedule–I, relating to the post of Refrigeration Supervisor,–

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading

and entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 5" (` 29,200 - ` 92,300)

(b) in column (11), Note (2) shall be omitted.

(ii) In the Schedule–II, relating to the post of Refrigeration Operator,–

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading

and entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 2" (` 19,900 - ` 63,200)

(b) in column (11), Note (2) shall be omitted.

Chief Supervisor (Refrigeration) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Chief Supervisor

(Refrigeration) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Chief Supervisor (Regrigeration) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules,

2015, the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'B' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Chief Supervisor (Refrigeration) Recruitment

(Amendment) Rules, 2015;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 6" (` 35,400 - ` 1,12,400)

(b) in column (11).

(i) for the words, letters and figures in the "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 - 20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 2,800"

the words, letters and figure "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;

(ii) Note 2 shall be omitted.

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

(b) in column (10) under sub-clause (ii) of class (a) of Note, for the words, the figures in the "Pay

(Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post of Master Mechanic Recruitment Rules, 2014, the following rule shall be substituted,

namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'C' Non-Gazetted post of Master Mechanic Recruitment Rules, 2014;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of

Marine Foreman Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Marine Foreman

Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Marine Foreman Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2014, the

following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'C' (Non-Gazetted – Non-Ministerial) post of Marine Foreman Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2014;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 5" (` 29,200 - ` 92,300)

(b) in column (11).

(i) for the words, letters and figures in the "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 - ` 20,200 with grade pay of ` 2,400" and

wherever they occur, the words, letters and figure "Level-4 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;

(ii) for the words, letters and figures in the "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 - ` 20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 1,900"

and wherever they occur, the words, letters and figure "Level-2 in the Pay Matrix" shall be

substituted;

(iii) Note 3 shall be omitted.

post of Assistant Engineer (Marine) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015, namely:—

1. Short title and commencement.— (1) These rules may be called the Government of Puducherry,

Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Group 'B' - Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) post of Assistant Engineer

(Marine) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2018.

(2) They shall come into force on and from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. For rule 2 of the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare, Puducherry,

Group 'B' - Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) post of Assistant Engineer (Marine) Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2015,

the following rule shall be substituted, namely:—

"2. Number of post, its classification and Level in the Pay Matrix.—The number of the said post, its

classification and the Level in the Pay Matrix attached thereto, shall be as specified in columns (2) to (4) of

the said Schedule annexed to these rules".

3. In the Schedule to the Government of Puducherry, Department of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare,

Puducherry, Group 'B' Gazetted, (Non-Ministerial) post of Assistant Engineer (Marine) Recruitment (Amendment)

Rules, 2014;

(a) in column (4), for the column heading and the entries relating thereto, the following column heading and

entries shall be substituted, namely:—

"(4) Level in the Pay Matrix – Level 7" (` 44,900 - ` 1,42,400)

(b) in column (11),–

(i) under the sub-heading 'Promotion':–

(a) for the words, letters and figures in the "Pay Band-1 ` 5,200 - ` 20,200 with Grade Pay of ` 2,800"

the words, letters and figure in "Level-5 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;

(b) Note 3 shall be omitted.

(ii) under the sub-heading 'Deputation':–

(a) for the words, letters and figures in the "Pay Band-2 ` 9,300 - ` 34,800 with Grade Pay of ` 4,200"

the words, letters and figure in "Level-6 in the Pay Matrix" shall be substituted;

(b) Note 2 shall be omitted.
