NOTIFICATION

Whereas, the Government is of the opinion

that an industrial dispute has arisen between the

management of M/s. Mahatma Gandhi Medical College,

Puducherry and Mahathma Gandhi Medical College and

Indira Gandhi Dental College Congress Employees

Union, Puducherry, over charter of demands such as

to revise the basic pay for unskilled employees

as ` 9,000, semi-skilled as ` 10,000, skilled as ` 11,000

and high-skilled as ` 12,000; washing allowance at

` 300 per month; annual increment of 25%, to grant

promotion on completion of 10 years of service and

other allowances,

etc., in respect of the matter

mentioned in the Annexure to this order;

And whereas, in the opinion of the Government,

it is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;

Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated

vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of

the Labour Department, Puducherry, to exercise the

powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (1) of

section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 (Central

Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by the Secretary

to Government (Labour) that the said dispute be

referred to the Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry for

adjudication. The Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, shall

submit the Award within 3 months from the date of

issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section (2-A)

of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and

in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial Disputes

(Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising the dispute

shall file a statement of claim complete with relevant

documents, list of reliance and witnesses to the

Industrial Tribunal, Puducherry, within 15 days of the

receipt of the order of reference and also forward a

copy of such statement to each one of the opposite

parties involved in the dispute.

The original Sale Deed mortgaged vide the Mortgage

Deed, dated 26-03-1977 and registered as Document

No. 581/1977 of Book-1 in the Sub-Registrar’s Office,

Oulgaret by Thiru S. Sitaraman (Late), SAO (Retd.),

Education Department, the then Superintendent, Local

Administration Department, Puducherry, for the HBA

availed by him vide the Order No. 19844/LAD/77/A1,

dated

24-03-1977

and

01-07-1977

of

Local

Administration Department, Puducherry, is lost. The

original Sale Deed is not traceable after thorough

search made in this Department. Hence, the same could

not be released to the legal heir of the Officer.

2. Therefore, this Secretariat has no objection for

the issue of duplicate copy of Sale Deed of the

Schedule of property as mentioned below by the

Registration Department, Puducherry to legal heirs of

Tmt. S. Singarame, W/o. Thiru S. Sitaraman (Late),

resident of No. 21, V.O.C. Street, Kamaraj Nagar,

Puducherry-605 011.

Take notice that as you have not paid or shown

sufficient cause for the non-payment of ` 13,77,99,239

(Rupees thirteen crores seventy-seven lakhs ninety-nine

thousand two hundred and thirty-nine only) along-with

12% interest per annum being the arrears of taxes and

penalty payable to Commercial Taxes Department,
