Election of a Member/of Members to the
Pondicherry Pharmacy Council
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of
rule 4 of the Pondicherry Pharmacy Council Rules, 1972,
that the election of Member to the Pondicherry Pharmacy
Council to serve during the period expiring 10th day of
December 2023 is about to be held.
Nominations of eligible persons to fill the vacancy are
invited.
Each candidate must be nominated by a separate
nomination paper, but, any person entitled to vote at the
election may sign the nomination paper of any number of
candidates not exceeding the number to be elected and for
which, he is entitled to vote.
Every nomination paper must be in Form-B, giving all
the details required therein.
The nomination paper must reach the undersigned on
or before 31st October 2018 (05.00 p.m.) from whom
Forms of nomination and nomination papers may be
obtained on application.
Nomination papers in respect of which the provisions
of Part-I of the rules have not been complied with or
which are not received by the Returning Officer by the
aforesaid date will be invalid.

Whereas, approval of the Lieutenant-Governor has
been accorded for the constitution of State Health Agency
in the Union territory of Puducherry as per the MoU
and Guidelines of the National Health Agency vide
G.O. Ms. No. 41, dated 7-9-2018 of Chief Secretariat
(Health), Puducherry for the implementation of the
Scheme-Ayushman Bharat-National Health Protection
Scheme.
2. In continuation to the above, approval of the
Lieutenant-Governor is hereby accorded for the constitution
of State Empanelment Committee and the District
Empanelment Committee to empanel or cause to empanel
private and public health care service providers and
facilities as per the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Swasthya
Suraksha Mission (PMRSSM) guidelines on process for

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Government is of the opinion that an
industrial dispute has arisen between the management
of M/s. Larsen and Toubro Private Limited, Sedarapet,
Puducherry and Thiru S. Purushothaman, Villupuram
District, over reinstatement with back wages, in respect
of the matter mentioned in the Annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of the Government, it
is necessary to refer the said dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, by virtue of the authority delegated
vide G.O. Ms. No. 20/91/Lab./L, dated 23-5-1991 of
the Labour Department, Puducherry to exercise the
powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (1) of
section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947
(Central Act XIV of 1947), it is hereby directed by
Secretary to Government (Labour) that the said dispute
be referred to the Labour Court, Puducherry for
adjudication. The Labour Court, Puducherry, shall
submit the Award within 3 months from the date of
issue of reference as stipulated under sub-section
(2-A) of section 10 of the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947
and in accordance with rule 10-B of the Industrial
Disputes (Central) Rules, 1957. The party raising
the dispute shall file a statement of claim complete
with relevant documents, list of reliance and witnesses
to the Labour Court, Puducherry within 15 days of the
receipt of the order of reference and also forward a
copy of such statement to each one of the opposite
parties involved in the dispute.

(a) Whether the dispute raised by the petitioner
Thiru S. Purushothaman, Villupuram District, against
the management of M/s. Larsen and Toubro Private
Limited, Sedarapet, Puducherry is justifiable or not?
