NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1

of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Puducherry Amendment) Act, 2017

(Act No. 5 of 2018), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to

appoint the 17th day of September 2018, as the date on which the said

Act shall be deemed to have come into force in the whole of Union

territory of Puducherry.
