NOTIFICATION

The Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, is pleased to make the

following rules further to amend “The Puducherry Old Age Persons

and Destitutes Pension (Amendment) Rules, 2015” notified in G.O. Ms.

No. 5/2015-WCD(SW-lV), dated 21-5-2015 of the Women and Child

Development Secretariat, read with G.O. Ms. No. 6/2015-WCD(SW-IV),

dated 26-5-2015, namely:-

AMENDMENT

1. Short title and commencement.— (i) These rules may be called

“The Puducherry Old Age Persons and Destitutes Pension (Amendment)

Rules, 2018”.

(ii) They shall come into force on and effect from the date of

their notification in the Official Gazette.

2. Amendment of rule 14.— In sub-rule (1) of rule 14 for the words

and figures “` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only)” wherever applicable,

the words and figures “` 10,000 (Rupees ten thousand only)” shall be

substituted.

2. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Department,

vide their I.D. No. 2059/FC/FD/F5/A2/2018, dated 10-10-2018.
