NOTIFICATION
In continuation of the this Secretariat’s G.O. Ms. No. 72, dated 19-11-1999 and an addendum issued
thereto vide this Secretariat’s G.O. Ms. No. 51, dated 17-07-2015, the tentative Seniority List of Specialist Grade-I and
Chief Medical Officer (Non-Functional Selection Grade), who were appointed up to 12-09-2017 and 26-10-2015
respectively, was circulated to all concerned vide this Secretariat’s O.M. No. A23012/1/H1/Health/2015-18, dated
02-11-2018, calling for objections, if any, to the seniority proposed to be assigned to them.
2. After consideration of the objections, so received, the final seniority of Specialist Grade-I/Chief Medical
Officer (Non-Functional Selection Grade) is fixed as indicated in the Annexures to this order.

NOTIFICATION
Whereas, the Managements of (i) M/s. Ashok Theatre,
Villianur, Puducherry, (ii) M/s Murugaa Theatre,
Thattanchavadi, Puducherry, (iii) M/s. Jeeva Rukmani
Cinemas, No. 62, Kamaraj Salai, Puducherry-605 011,
have applied for grant of exemption from certain
provisions of the Puducherry Shops and Establishments
Act, 1964 to conduct special morning shows on 21-12-2018
to 23-12-2018 on account of screening a new film
"Maari-2" (Tamil) & "Zero" (Hindi);
And whereas, the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry,
has by notification in G.O. Ms. No. 9/95/Lab., dated
07-04-1995 under sub-section (1) of section 52 of the
Puducherry Shops and Establishments Act, 1964,
authorized the Secretary to Government, Labour
Department, Puducherry, to exercise the powers of the
Government under section 6 of the said Act, relating
to grant of exemption;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred
by section 6 of the said Act, the Secretary to
Government, Labour Department, Puducherry, hereby
exempts (i) M/s. Ashok Theatre, Villianur, Puducherry,
(ii) M/s. Murugaa Theatre, Thattanchavadi, Puducherry,
(iii) M/s. Jeeva Rukmani Cinemas, No. 62, Kamaraj
Salai, Puducherry-605 011, from the provisions of the

sections 16(1) 17(1) 17(2) and 18 of the Puducherry
Shops and Establishments Act, 1964 for conducting
special morning shows as detailed below:

The conduct of special shows shall be subject to the
following conditions:
(i) Every person employed shall be paid overtime
wages for the period of work done by him in excess
of 8 hours in a day or 48 hours in a week.
(ii) The person employed shall be given rest interval
of at least half-an-hour for every four hours of work.
(iii) The Management should obtain permission
from the authorities concerned wherever necessary.
(iv) In case, the said screening of the new film
does not take place, this notification shall have no effect.

NOTICE
Applications are invited from private workshops/
authorised dealers/service centres to carry out various
repairs of vehicles belonging to Government Departments
of Puducherry, Karaikal, Mahe and Yanam for enlisting
as recognised workshop for undertaking repairs/job works
of Government vehicles, as categorised below:
Types of workshops to be selected
1. Major repair workshop (including overhauling,
body patch work, tinkering, painting, electrical and
upholstery).
2. Minor repair workshop.
3. Patch work, tinkering and painting workshop.
4. Electrical repair workshop.
5. Upholstery repair workshop.
6. Servicing workshop.
The applications can be downloaded from the Department
website: https//transport.py.gov.in &www.py.gov.in from
02-01-2019 to 17-01-2019 at 5.00 p.m.
The filled in applications alongwith necessary enclosures
as prescribed in the application and a Demand Draft for
` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only) as application
fee drawn from State Bank of India, payable at Puducherry,
in favour of Drawing and Disbursing Officer, Government
Automobile Workshop, Puducherry should reach the
Executive Engineer, Government Automobile Workshop,
Saram, Puducherry on or before 17-01-2019 at 5.45 p.m.
The applicant who have already applied alongwith
payment of application need to apply again. However,
application fee need not be paid again but should enclose
a copy of receipt to having paid.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Public are hereby informed that the unserviceable
furniture items and building waste materials available
in this Institution will be disposed off in as-is-where-
is condition by Tender-cum-Auction sale on 23-1-2019
at 10.30 a.m.
Terms and Conditions
1. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
“Principal, Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic
College, Puducherry” duly superscribing on the
envelope as “Tender for purchase of unserviceable/
obsolete articles” and should reach this office on or
before 23-1-2019 at 10.00 a.m. The tenders will be
opened at 11.30 a.m. on the same day in the presence
of the tenderers present if any, in the chamber of the
undersigned of Motilal Nehru Government Polytechnic
College, Puducherry-605 008.
2. The tender will be awarded to the highest tenderer
on the spot.
3. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable by the
undersigned, then the public auction will be conducted
on the spot keeping the highest tender amount as the
minimum upset price for bid of auction.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an earnest
money of
` 5,000 (Rupees five thousand only) along
with sealed tenders. The earnest money deposit of the
unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded on the same day
soon after completion of the tender/auction sale.
5. The successful tenderer/bidder should pay the
entire amount soon after the completion of the tender/
auction sale and should clear the sold materials at his
own arrangements/cost before 5.00 p.m. on the same
day, failing which the office will not be held
responsible either for the safe custody or for loss or
damage of articles once the tender/auction sale is over.
6. GST/Sales-tax will be charged extra as per the
rate applicable as the time of tender/auction sale.
7. No claim on the quantity or quality of the articles
will be admitted once the tender/auction sale is over.
8. The intending tenderers can inspect the unserviceable
articles during the office hours from 10.00 a.m. to
12.00 noon on any working day, but, on or before the
date of tender/auction sale at this Institution with the
permission of the undersigned.
9. The tenders offered after the due date and time
will be rejected.
