TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the “Total rate” for each
Annexure are invited for disposal of obsolete/
unserviceable items in the Soil Testing Laboratory and
Government Farm, Madur, as detailed in the
Annexure-I, II, IV, V & VI belonging to the Office of
the Additional Director of Agriculture and Farmers
Welfare, Karaikal.
2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
“The Additional Director, Office of the Additional
Director of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Karaikal”
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for
disposal of obsolete/unserviceable items in Annexure-I,
II, IV, V & VI” and send to the undersigned to reach
“on or before 21-01-2019 at 12.00 noon.” The tenders
will be opened on the same day at 4.00 p.m. (in the
presence of the tenderers if available) in the premises
of the Additional Director, Office of the Additional
Director of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare,
Thalatheru, Karaikal, the tender receiving date will be
declared or as public holiday for any reason, the tenders
will be received and opened by the same time on the
next working day.
3. The intending tenderers may inspect the items at
the Office of the Additional Director of Agriculture and
Farmers Welfare, Thalatheru, Karaikal for Annexure-I,
& II and in Government Farm, Madur for IV, V & VI
in all working days from 14-01-2019 to 21-01-2019
during office hours before 11.00 a.m. on 21-01-2019.
4. The tenders received after the due date and time
will summarily be rejected. The intending tenderers
should deposit an amount of ` 1,500 (Rupees one
thousand and five hundred only) in the form of cash on
submission of tender.
5. If, the highest tender amount offered by the
tenderer is found to be not acceptable to the
undersigned, the auction will be conducted on the spot
keeping the highest tender amount as minimum bid.
6. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will refunded immediately after the tender/
auction sale is over.
7. The successful tenderer should pay the cost of the
articles including the applicable GST.

8. This Department will not be in any way held
responsible for the safe custody or any loss of the sold
articles, once the tender is finalized. No claim on the
quantity and quality of the materials will be entertained.
9. The undersigned reserves the right to reject any
or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof
and the decision of the undersigned will be the final and
binding on all the tenders.

TENDER-CUM-AUCTION NOTICE
Sealed tenders offering the rate per kilogram are
invited from the local bidders for the sale of the
following old items belonging to the Police Department,
Puducherry.

2. The sealed tenders should be addressed to the
Superintendent of Police (HQ), Puducherry-605 001,
duly superscribing on the envelope as “Tender for the
purchase of old newspapers and magazines” and reach
the undersigned on or before 4.00 p.m. on 29-01-2019.
The tenders will be opened at 5.00 p.m. on the same
day in the presence of the tenderers who are present at
the office of the undersigned.
3. If necessary, the auction will be conducted among
the tenderers to fix the highest rate.
4. The intending tenderers should deposit an amount
of ` 1,000 (Rupees one thousand only) as earnest money
deposit. Tenderers should submit a copy of the Aadhaar
as Identity and address proof along with GST particulars.
5. The earnest money deposit of the unsuccessful
tenderers will be refunded immediately, soon after the
tender sale is over. Tenderers should produce valid Identity
proof for returning their earnest money deposit amount.
6. Tender(s) received after the due date and time
will be rejected.
7. The undersigned reserves the right to accept or
reject any or all the tenders without assigning any
reason thereof.

8. The successful tenderer should pay the full
amount immediately as and when call made clear the
old items within 24 hours at his own risk and cost
failing which the earnest money deposit will be
forfeited.
9. No claim on the quantity and quality of the
articles will be admitted once the tender is finalized.
10. The intending tenderers can inspect the articles
during the office hours in the Chief Stores, Gorimedu,
Puducherry, premises.
11. In case of any dispute, the decision of the
undersigned will be the final.
