NOTIFICATION

Consequent to the decision taken by the Hon’ble Full Court of the High Court of Judicature at Madras,

the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, being the Appointing Authority hereby orders, the compulsory retirement of

Dr. K. Arul, District Judge (Entry Level) of the Puducherry Judicial Service, functioning on other duty as the Registrar

(Special Cell), Hon’ble High Court of Judicature at Madras and placed under compulsory wait, from service, in public

interest, under Fundamental Rules 56 (j), with effect from the date of service of the Government Order, alongwith

payment of three months pay and allowances in lieu of three months notice.

2. The compulsory retirement shall be subject to the outcome of the Writ Petition No. 12654 of 2018 pending

on the file of the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Madras.
