NOTIFICATION
In exercise of powers conferred under sub-rule (b) of rule 10 of the
Pondicherry Municipalities (Advertisement-tax) Rules, 1976, the Special Officer
for Pondicherry Municipal Council is pleased to approve the following places as
"Permitted Locations" for erection and display of advertisements. Further, no
person shall fix any advertisement or signboard projecting in, on, over or across
a public street or any public place.

(Advertisement Tax) Rules, 1976, the Special Officer for the Pondicherry Municipal
Council is pleased to fix an upfront permission charges of ` l00/m2/day.
As per rule (15) of Pondicherry Municipalities (Advertisement Tax)
Rules, 1976, all advertisements to bear the permit number duly assigned by the
Pondicherry Municipality.
