GENERAL NOTICE
Whereas, I, Apoorva Gupta, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police (Law
and Order), Puducherry, on being satisfied that there is likelihood of breach of peace
in Puducherry region, especially within the limits of Police Stations comprising East
Subdivision, owing to the proposed agitations/demonstrations by various political
parties/organizations/associations and other law and order arrangements, which may
cause dislocation of traffic, danger to the community, damages/loss to private and
public properties and disturbance to public order;
Now, therefore, in view of ensuing Session of Puducherry Legislative
Assembly, I, Apoorva Gupta, I.P.S., Senior Superintendent of Police (Law and
Order), Puducherry, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by virtue of section
30(2) of the Police Act (Act V of 1861), do hereby impose the Regulatory Order in
Puducherry region, especially within the limits of Police Stations comprising East
Subdivision for a period of 5 days from 02-03-2019 to 06-03-2019 (both days inclusive)
as follows:
