NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the

Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances

Act, 1988 (No. 46 of 1988), the Lieutenant-Governor, Puducherry, empowers

the District Collectors of Puducherry and Karaikal Districts as the Detaining

Authorities for the prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic

Substances in the Puducherry and Karaikal Districts, respectively.
