NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 21, read with section 32 of
the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Central Act 2 of 1974), the Lieutenant-Governor,
Puducherry, hereby appoints the officers mentioned under column (2) of the Table
in the Annexure as Special Executive Magistrates during the pre-poll (17-4-2019) and
poll day (18-4-2019) in connection with the General Elections to Lok Sabha, 2019,
in respect of the area specified under column (3) of the said Table and empowers
them to exercise all the powers of the District Magistrate under the said Code.
