The sealed tenders should be addressed to the

Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts and Science

College, Karaikal, duly superscribed on the envelope

as “Tender for purchase of old newspapers and

magazines” and to reach this office on or before 06-06-2019

at 11.00 a.m. Tenders will be opened at 11.00 a.m. on

the same day in the presence of the tenderers at the

Office of the Principal, Arignar Anna Government Arts

and Science College, Karaikal.

The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 500 (Rupees five hundred only) as

earnest money deposit. The earnest money deposit

of the unsuccessful tenderers will be refunded

immediately after the tender is over. Tenders received

after the due date and time will be rejected.

The undersigned reserves the right to accept or reject

any tender without assigning any reason thereof. The old

newspapers and magazines will be weighed by the

electronic weighing-machine available in the College.

The successful tenderer should pay the full

amount immediately and clear the items within

24 hours at his/her own cost and risk, failing which

the earnest money deposit will be forfeited. No claim

on the quantity and quality of the articles will be

admitted, once the tender is finalised.

GST at the rate applicable will be charged.

The intending tenderers can inspect the articles on

all working days during the library hours. In case of

any dispute, the decision of the Principal, Arignar

Anna Government Arts and Science College, Karaikal

will be the final.

Hinduism to Christianity faith, I had renounced my

birth name ‘Vivekanandan’ and assumed to myself the

Christian name ‘Mark’. I hereby relinquish my birth

name ‘Vivekanandan’. Hereafter, I shall be known,
