Puducherry, the 4th June 2019.

RE-TENDER NOTICE

Sealed tenders are invited for taking on lease of

Usufructs trees of 35 (thirty-five) bearing Coconut-

Coconut trees, 45 (forty-five) non-bearing Coconut-

Coconut trees and 20 (twenty) young Coconut trees in

the Coir Growth Centre, Chinnaveerampattinam,

Ariyankuppam Commune, Puducherry for a period of

1 year from 1st July 2019 to 30th June 2020 which will

be extended for a further period of two years with 10%

increase of the bid amount of the successful bidder for

every year.

2. The tenders should reach the General Manager,

District Industries Centre, Thattanchavady, Puducherry,

on or before 20-6-2019 at 3.00 p.m. The tenders will be

opened by the General Manager in the Office of the

District Industries Centre at Thattanchavady, Puducherry

at 3.30 p.m. on the same day in the presence of the

tenderers who choose to be present.

3. The tenders received after the due date and time

will be rejected.

4. The intending tenderers may inspect the usufructs

trees in the Coir Growth Centre, Chinna Veerampattinam,

Ariyankuppam Commune, Puducherry, at any time

during the office hours.

5. The intending tenderers should submit their

tenders in sealed cover superscribed with the words

“Tender for the usufructs trees in the Coir Growth

Centre, Chinnaveerampattinam, Ariyankuppam Commune,

Puducherry”.

6. The tenders should be in whole of rupees only.

The tenders from those who are kept in arrears to this

office as on 20-6-2019 will not be accepted.

7. (i) The intending tenderers should deposit an

amount of ` 250 (Rupees two hundred and fifty only)

in cash as earnest money deposit along with the tender.

The earnest money deposit will be returned to the

unsuccessful tenderers as and when the tender process

is completed.

(ii) The successful tenderer should remit the

balance of tender amount immediately by deducting the

earnest money deposit amount.

(iii) An acceptance letter should be provided by

the successful tenderer within a week’s time. Only after

receipt of the same, the successful tenderer would be

allowed to enjoy the usufructs.

(iv) The successful bidder shall also maintain and

utilise the Electric motor pump-set during the lease

period and return the same in good condition after the

lease period.

8. If, the tender receipt and opening date i.e.,

20-6-2019 happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be

accepted on the next working day up to 3.00 p.m and

it will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on the same day by the

General Manager, District Industries Centre, Puducherry.

9. This office reserves the right to accept or reject

any or all the tenders without assigning any reason

thereof.

10. If, any dispute arises in this regard, the decision

of the General Manager, District Industries Centre,

Puducherry, will be the final.
