NOTIFICATION
Whereas, as per the rule 4.1. of the “Puducherry Media Representatives
Identity Card Rules, 2013” issued under G.O. Ms. No. 3, dated 28-06-2013 of the
General Administration (Information and Publicity) Department, Puducherry, the
Media Identity Cards Recommendation Committee shall consist of three official
and four non-official Members;
And whereas, the official Members viz., the Secretary to Government
(Information), the Director of Information and Publicity and the Assistant Director
(Press) of the Directorate of Information and Publicity are official and stable;

Now, therefore, the following four media persons are nominated as
“non-official Members for the Media Identity Card Rule, 2013” under G.O. Ms. No. 3,
dated 28-06-2013 of the General Administration (Information and Publicity)
Department, Puducherry and G.O. Ms. No. 7, dated 20-04-2015 of the Department
of Information and Publicity, Puducherry, with immediate effect for a period of
two years from the date of issue of the notification or until further orders,
whichever is earlier.

2. The non-official Members shall suggest their view/comments/
recommendation in the meeting while convening for finalising the application
received from the applicant for issue of Identity Cards.
3. No allowances/honorarium shall be paid in this regard.
